Egypt is one of the moderate nations in that area like Jordan.   I wish whatever is happening there should be happening in Pakistan.   That will send the Taliban and AQ flying.

It should be happening here!  We are being raped with food prices and no one says anything. Now we will deal with higher prices of gas.

Our government is not doing Anything or us. We are headed exactly like Egypt.  How long will we take it is what I wonder!

We need a New United States, get rid of Obama is a first step.  Damn I could be a better President than he's been.  He is so busy taking acting lesson but he's not fooling me at all!

The U.S. has the most prosperous economy in the world, despite "the great recession" ;the U.S. has NOTHING like Egypt's grinding & oppressive poverty.

Btw, there 's only so much ( the economy, external foreign events ) a President, either Democrat or Republican, can control. Many matters are simply out of their hands.

As far as "needing a new U.S., getting rid of BHO & you becoming Prez" those statements are SO moronic that you make Palin & Bachmann look like MENSA members by comparison. :)

And the severe weather you are experiencing has nothing to with it.  Deregulate financial industry more so more companies can speculate on oil. Import food from China by getting rid of FDA, food prices will go down. Why not get rid of Unleaded Gasoline and allow oil companies to sell Kerosine, that will lower oil prices. Hell get rid of catalytic converters and environmental controls and that lower car prices.

It is all Obama's fault including the severe winter in the Northeast.

You could be better president. With the amount of intellect you shown in this post, sure you would be indeed.

It not just that I disagree with her, I disagree with everyone at one time or another, but that doesn't make them morons. lol

Some people OTOH are just so clearly out of touch with reality that debating them on any subject is pointless. Ben, Trannyboy and now Octavia fit that bill. How do you talk to someone with such ridiculous ideas? I mean take her post and tell me where do you go from there? There is nothing and nowhere you can go from complete idiocy. In her twisted little pea brain she probably thinks her post makes perfect sense and that's the problem, she is clearly not in touch with reality and conversation with her is pointless.

I don't mean to act like Priapus and go around calling everyone I disagree with a "troll", but honestly, how do you talk to an obvious moron?

"talk" to them so much, as in trying to reason with them. However, like you said, when someone appears to be "not in touch with reality," it can be helpful to confront them with reality. It may not change their mind, but at least it doesn't allow them to imagine everyone is agreeing with them.

    As far as I know, this lady has never posted on this Board before or, if she has, does so rarely. Whatever the merits of her post, I suspect she will never post here again after being told her post is “dumb” and she is an “obvious moron.”

         Some degree of courtesy to new posters would be nice, particularly if she is a lady given that male posters make up 99% of the P & R Board. The obvious consequence of Priapus’s “insult first” policy is to discourage all but the hardy from posting here.

       So I hope you and Priapus are going to be happy with me, Willy, Phil, Matt, Xfean, Charlie, Mein, St.. Croiz, Liorr, Topbossman, and Ben as we are going to be the only ones left if you guys keep this up.

Find anything of merit contained in our newest posters post, and I will apologize, except for possibly her disapproval of Obama. lol The problem is, she doesn't even know why she dislikes Obama or his policies. I am willing to bet she doesn't even know his policies. In short, she is so clueless her posts are just so much noise, just like the posts of Trannyboy, etal. She adds nothing to the debate, just like ben she is a "rebel without a clue".

People used to claim that TJloonytunes was actually a very bright person, just subject to a bit of over dramatic bursts of hyperbole. Time proved what we knew all along. The woman was "batshit crazy" lmao

I don't see anything redeeming in our newest idiot poster, I don't think she is capable of higher thought. I think all she is capable of is spewing hate without even knowing who or what she really hates. Prices are high and someone has to be to blame, why not blame the POTUS?

Like you, even if I agree with person's opinion, ie "Obama is bad", it doesn't make them any less of an idiot if that what they are, and Octavia doesn't have the capacity for complex thinking, so why coddle her? Just because she is female and doesn't like Obama doesn't make her any less stupid.

I agree that if it is a choice between the "usual supspects" and new posters that are complete morons, I'll take the "devil I know", rather than suffer morons like the first three posters on this thread.

I will double down on that bottle of Krug that Octavia proves herself (if she keeps posting) to be every bit the idiot that I have pegged her to be. For a scum sucking lawyer (sorry I couldn't resist), I still consider you to be a man of some honor, if she starts to make sense I will apologize, if not you owe the second bottle of Krug. lol

BTW I expect to be in LA this week, and LV this weekend. I am going to be in Little Persia on Wednesday,(a guy in the oil business meeting with Iranians, big surprise. lol) and the Playboy mansion Thursday, eat you hearts out boys. lol then Vegas for the weekend.

      I have my favorite baklava shop there. Surprised ypu have not heard of it although some call it Tehranangles. Oddly enough,
Beverly Hills has a remarkably high Iranian population. Never understood how they could afford it.

    Torrid Affair was the only pure Persian gal I knew but she is long gone. Check out Melody if you like that look which I find very striking.

They are in Beverly Hills, Westwood, Sherman Oaks, and now Irvine in Orange County. I guess we can thank the Shah, immigration, and the fact they breed like rabbits.

Westwood Blvd and Veteran was the worst intersection on planet Earth when I went to UCLA a gazillion years ago. I can't imagine it's any better.

For a land with "no opportunity" many immigrants seem to be doing quite well in this oppresive, xenophobic country. The American dream is still alive and well, just a lot of Americans seem to have forgotten how to make it work for themselves. They start off with cushy lives and expect Government to take care of their every need, and then they wonder why these immigrants pass them by on the road to financial success. Rather than begrudge immigrants for their work ethic, maybe some of these lazy Americans could try getting off their fat, lazy asses? Just a thought.lol

Pakistan has only two classes, the have's and the have nots. The rich in Punjab and Sindh provinces control politics, military and industries. NWFP is on their own probably will break away like Bangladesh did one day.

Exactly the reason Pakistan doesn't want Afghanistan successful. NWFP has more in common with Afghanistan than Pakistan. They didn't want to join Pakistan during the partition and wanted stay with India but the almighty Britain decided they are majority muslim and had to go with Pakistan.

First we had liorr actually encouraging Ben to post, folowed by bens usual idiotic, American bashing drivel, followed by Octavia's post that looked like it could have been ghost written by Ben him/herself.

But Octavia's post does take the cake,  a five hundred dollar an hour hooker complaining about the price of food. Give me a fucking break, it's her customers that should be rioting.

I am no fan of Obama's but blaming him for the price of food and gas is just ramblings of an idiot who knows nothing about how the economy works. I hope she is good at sucking dick, because she has no future as an economist. lmao
