Some of you may recognize me.  Some won't.  I used to be a major poster here before getting disgusted and leaving.  Then I was banned from TER for a while, the reason is between me and them.  Anyway, I'm back.  Not pretending it's a big deal.  This board has always been a cesspool.  I used to call it The Monkey House because everyone used to fling their poo here.
Politically, I'm left of center so I pissed off people to the right (and you know who you are) and the left (like Willy, who may or may not be back in another guise).  I could agree with Willy at times and agree with Gambler or Saint Croix or Pitching Wedge, depending on who made the most sense to me.  I also like JerseyFlyer, even though I rarely agreed with him.  It's sad that all of them no longer post here.
I've been back in various guises in the interim and flamed like crazy.  But now that I'm back as my original handle I'd like to be able to have honest, non-flaming debates with those of you who will make an effort to discuss differences respectfully and rationally.  Those who can't will feel my wrath, LOL! No matter what side of the political compass you come from.
Bottom line, this board can be and should be a lot better than it's been. Let's all try and make that happen.  I have my doubts.
In the meantime, I'll leave you with my favorite acronym FYATWYRIO!

Yes, it was a cesspool before but in my opinion it's a bigger cesspool now.  The reason is that virtually all the posters who were closer to the center have no interest in being part of ranting and name-calling from the extreme right or left.  Personally, I don't think either extreme is worse than the other.  As someone to the left of center, I'm more in tune with the extreme lefties but will admit they flame as severely as the righties.  I don't think one side is worse than the other.  It kind of reminds of politics in general these days, which is depressing.
Bottom line, if this board continues in the same vein as this thread has degenerated, I won't be posting much.

As for the rest, yes, I think it's futile posting here.  As for your pal, Laffy, you won't be surprised I agree with a lot of what he posts.  While I don't like his level of poo-flinging, I also do not think he's any worse than guys like buggy, et. al.  They were throwing poo at Willy (who was the only one on the far Left at the time) non-stop and he, whatever his faults, didn't fling it back.  Now that there are guys on the left who can fling some serious poo, and bug and the rest seriously don't like it.  
I will stipulate that I know you're right re the reasons you stopped posting here.  The idea that anyone could run you off this or any other board is, well, Laff-able.  (Sorry for turning your name into a pun, dude, but sometimes I just can't help it.)
If St. Croix would reappear I'd consider coming back, too.

fact is, my volume of posting is so small relative to the board that most just ignored me and we got along fine...as daffyduck chased away everyone you've mentioned, the remainders stayed silent but for willy, and we know BigNarc took care of that. so rather than leave, I've just stuck around and shoved the shit right back.
