Alright, first let me say that I love me a good conspiracy theory. I don’t necessarily believe them, but I love them. Farmer Dan says his butt was probed when he was kidnapped by aliens in their UFO? No, I don’t believe him. But I am gonna grab a bag of popcorn.
So, let’s explore the 2017 Las Vegas Shooting. For the official story, wiki has a pretty good write up.
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017_Las_Vegas_shooting So what about the non-official story? Well, a fascinating thing that’s worth looking at is this page. It chronicles the evidence found, 9-11 calls, etc. Really fascinating stuff.
http://vegasshootingmap.com/ Recently I watched a rather poorly done budget documentary on the shooting called Route 91. It was put together by Mindy Robinson, who full disclosure is a bit of a quack. She was a hottie back in the day, but she’s very right wing and thinks the moon landing was faked.
So, going by what she relates in the film, 1) Stephen Paddock (officially the shooter) could not have done it and 2) there were multiple shooters. And this is where things get wild.
According to the film, which shows police bodycam footage to back it up, Paddock had been dead for a while before police entered his room. When they did enter it they found a large stash of weapons, but the glass windows to his room was still in tact. Paddock sold weapons for a living, so him having a large stash is not really all that unusual. The film points out one of the things Paddock did shortly before the incident was pay his taxes.
After Paddock had died on the night of the shooting, more gunfire was reported to the police, including machine gun fire. The audio of the machine gun fire is odd too. To my ear it sounds more like belt fed machine gun fire than AR-15’s using bump stocks. Many of the AR’s found in Paddock’s room had bump stocks, but none had any scopes.
There were multiple reports of gun fire from all around the area, and even had people giving the police hand guns that they said they found on the ground. Various people reported finding bullet casings of various calibers in various locations. There were also reports of men changing their clothing. Helicopters could be heard and seen on the videos of the shooting, but no helicopters appeared on radar. Over an hour after Paddock was found dead machine gun fire was heard by multiple police. 9-1-1 calls continued to come in from various locations at this time reporting gun fire.
So I don’t know what to think about all this. I haven’t had time to verify the things on the map with the film. But there are video clips of gun fire where it sounds like gunfire is happening close by and a different set of gunfire is happening at a distance. Regardless, none of this is meant to denigrate those who lost their lives or were injured that day. Rather the opposite. Any event like this needs to be thoroughly investigated, to determine what happened. The fact that the police could not determine a motive for the shooting says that whatever the police know about it, they haven’t been forthcoming enough.
Regarding the film, Robinson does make multiple jobs to conclusion that as far as I can tell isn’t supported by the evidence. But the evidence she does bring to the table is compelling. While her claims often fall flat, the video she presents doesn’t, and that’s what makes her film so compelling.
