"hate filled wackos".  But,  there is a reason we all become staunch on our postulation of our axioms,  but,  of course,  we do know there is no such thing in politics as "self evident truths",  there are only eclectic and complicated issues,  that most of us think we know about,  but really know nothing,  we all just have "an opinion"  and usually that opinion causes frustration within us,  because the expression of it becomes difficult and we want the other side to understand.  (My parellelism would be,  the person trying to convince another,  his way is right,  he can't,  consequently,  he puts his fist through the door).

Here is a very good article on  why the "right" and "left" have a challenging time on working together,  I certainly don't think it is all bad,  because it gives us a balance,  which is very important in democratic society.

See,  you only picked up on one thing,  that really wasn't the point I was trying to make.    I was really trying to point to the article on why,  "right" and "left" have a difficult time.  Did you read the article?????????  Explains a lot,  I think.

TeaBaggers are definitely not Libertarians,  I don't think I have ever heard that said.

The Tea Party folks are ultra-conservative Republicans . They are economically conservative and they are socially conservative as well,  to the extreme

Libertarians on the other hand are economically conservative (Like Republicans) and socially liberal (Like Democrats).  We are THE BEST of both worlds, and moving forward one step at a time.
