The good news for Trump is that it's virtually impossible to do a worse job and leave the place in worse shape than the VA is today. Of course we thought that about Obama and he managed to lower the bar even further. The bar today is literally fifty feet under ground.

I guess technically I am entitled to VA coverage, but to be honest I am not even sure as it NEVER entered my mind to ever go there. I think the VA should be reserved for veterans who were hurt/disabled in the line of duty, not for guys like you and me who spent our entire military "careers" drunk in a whore house.

I am not one of these flag waving jingoists who think that all veterans are "war heroes" and should be treated with reverence. BUT there are some vets who lost a LOT due to their service and they should be treated better than a guy who snuck into this country to pick lettuce. What has happened at the VA for decades is criminal and someone really needs to do something about it. Is that person Sarah Palin? That should be the opening line for a joke, but even I can't bring myself to laugh at how badly our vets are treated by the system designed to care for them.

I don't need to do any research. I have deep roots in OK (which is, specifically, the situation the OP presented). In fact, I know exactly where this specific VA hospital is. I've seen close family members in VA hospitals, private hospitals and nursing homes. And, this kind of shit has been going on, without meaningful intervention, since I was a child....(meh....probably before you were even born).
