It's not just foreign aid that comes with strings, even federal funding that goes to the states comes with strings attached.

as opposed to the "sexual slavery" in this country which, while real, is so overblown by the media is more myth than fact.

Thanks in part to that piece of shit Spitzer, the pendelum has swung the other direction and for those of us "normal perverts" who like young women, but not children, it is not uncommon for Americans to be set up unknowingly with underage teens only to be carted off in cuffs.

Don't get me wrong, I believe that sexual exploitation of children is one of the vilest acts that can be committed, but in a country(s) where all the women look young to an untrained American eye, to set someone up with a 17 yr old who had no intentions of molesting a child is just plain wrong.

but I agree totally that there is a huge difference between a pedophile and a 19yr old who boinks his 17 yr old GF.

True pedophiles are sick and should be pitied IMO, but they are also incurable in most cases and the safety of children trumps any rights that they might have and I believe they should be put somewhere where they can never hurt another child "forever"

I do agree about your alcohol analogy with one caveat. I believe that if you are old enough to serve your country and possibly be killed in service to said country (age 17) you should be allowed to have a drink.
