It's not even surprising anymore and this is pathetic!

On Friday, 28-Dec, Trump issued an Executive Order freezing the 2.1% pay raise for federal employees who were furloughed or working without pay anyway. (According to Trump, they are mostly Democrats, right?)

One week later, on Jan 4, WaPo published a story pointing out that Pence and the Cabinet were to be getting 5.5% increases. Having to do damage control, the White House (via the Office of Personnel Management?) finally decided to recommend freezing those raises late on Fri, Jan 4 (after the 12:18 PM dateline of the linked rawstory article).

In the articles I read, there were no quotes of Trump complaining about WaPo "Fake News!" "Enemy of the People!" "No collusion!" "Witch hunt!" (There were no "Enemy of the Cabinet Pay Raises!" quotes either.)

I guess that Pence and the Cabinet members will now have to barter doing house repairs or gardening or other jobs to make up for the lost income.
