well gee,  poor fella's not been convicted of anything, and he is the PM, for now at least, and certainly innocent until proven guilty.

So, why not lay on an extra dab of lube?  Just out of courtesy?  Uncooperative, oh, no shit; you'd be uncooperative as well in identical circumstances.
