Does anyone know about the privacy or secrecy of the filing of divorce papers? I am thinking that Melania will file for divorce at 12:01 AM on 21-Jan-2021. Can she keep such a filing secret or are all such filings a matter of public record? I guess that the likely jurisdictions are NY, Florida, and DC. I think NY is the most likely venue for her and her lawyers. I think that she will want to get her piece of the pie before it rots and molds and turns to such shit that there is no pie left to take.

And corallary to a divorce filing disclosure will be Trump's calling her out as a gold digging whore and a fish as frigid as ice who should be sent back to where she came from.

First, because she wangled a new pre-nup out of Don four years ago by refusing to move into the White House until she got one.
And mainly, because she knows his business empire is built on sand and will start crumbling on Day One when he's out of office. So if she doesn't cash in right away there may be nothing left to loot.

There is a process for filing under seal if there is a chance of harm to the filer.  Privacy is not one of them.  Since they live in Florida though, some redneck neocon judge will probably allow it.
