And the social media response has been fascinating. One commenter said, “I’m sorry, but prior authorization is required for thoughts and prayers.” Another commenter said (falsely) that the shooter has been identified as “Haddit Cumming”. United Health Care posted about the CEO’s passing on Facebook. Out of 8.4 thousand reactions 5.5 thousand left a laugh emoji.

Bare in mind that United Health Care has the highest denial of coverage rate in the nation. 32% of claims are rejected. The company is currently getting sued for using faulty AI to deny claims. Another health care company just announced it would no longer be covering anesthesia for surgery if the surgery lasts longer than what the health care company deems necessary.

‘Deny,’ ‘Defend, ‘Depose’: What To Know About Words Reportedly On Shell Casings Tied To UnitedHealthcare CEO Shooting

...how insurance companies screw people and what to do about it.

…found another way for “what you can do about it”.

on what page do you find the recommendation to shoot somebody at the insurance company.  Lol

When they deny your legitimate insurance claim for the 10th time...

Leftwing spokespeople like Taylor Lorenz are calling for the targeted murder of business people.
.
It just another manifestation of the now long normalized violence of liberals. Antifa has been their paramilitary force. So nothing new.
.
Liberals want you dead.

That nut, Cucker Tarlson, and many others called them "sightseers." How is that not normalizing violence and even promoting it?

They were called sightseers because some of them walked in peacefully right past posted Capitol Hill Police officers and did not participate in the vandalism and mayhem that the rioters who breached the building did.

Especially after witnessing the Capitol being desecrated and police officers assaulted. Your cavalier attitude, as well as Lester's,  couldn't have made my point any better if I tried.

I’ve been to the Capitol many times, first time was for a school field trip. They give public tours.

When you approach a public building mingling with hundreds of rioters that is ringed with helmeted police behind metal barriers what about that would make you think you should try to go inside?

Or when under cover feds dressed like Antifa break windows for no reason and go in through the windows? How about when Nancy Pelosi’s daughter video tapes it and says it’s going to be great? Or when the same Democrats who piss and moan about this encouraged and bailed out BLM rioters when they (before 1/6) engaged in a year long coast to coast domestic terror campaign of fire bombing apartment buildings, businesses, police precincts and courthouses and then the Democrats own bribed DAs refused to prosecute said domestic terrorists, Democrats paid them to riot during a pandemic, running trucks off the road by blocking highways while they were delivering medical supplies, and Democrats bailed rioters out of jail. Or when these same domestic terrorists tried to murder the President, tried to burn down a church used by every President since Madison, and injured over 60 Secret Service agents in the process? Or when Dem operatives in the media lie and say the grannies in the Capitol beat a cop to death with a fire extinguisher when in reality he wasn’t beaten by anyone, he just had a heart attack? Or when Pelosi admitted on film 1/6 was entirely her fault for refusing to bring in extra security. Or when the FBI manage to put people in prison without charges who weren’t even there that day, but Ray Epps didn’t get charged for shit despite getting caught on film encouraging people to go into the building. Or how about the ghost busses that brought bus loads of Feds to the protest? Or the mysterious pipe bomber that Democrats never talk about?

So please keep bringing up 1/6. Talk about it until you’re blue in the face. It is going to be a hoot when Trump puts these criminals in prison where they belong.

Please keep telling this debunked maga traitor cunt bullshit over and over again. It demonstrates what a shit for fucking brain morons filthy maga traitor cunts are.

by going into unauthorized places in said building.  The complete fucking willful ignorance (or just plain fucking stupidity) of filthy stinky maga cunt traitors like willy never ceases to amaze...

Take a good look shit for brains filthy maga traitor cunt morons. This is NOT peaceful. Fucktard

No leftwing rioters in DC over the years have been prosecuted. Leftwing violence is normalized and protected.

Only lunatic Antifa Anarchists talk like that. They are NOT liberals in any sense. Please take your broad brush and shove it up your ass. And that does not mean I want you dead. And your broad brush isn't even a real brush.
Please unconstipate your alleged mind.

wait until Nicky REALLY gets going with the metaphors.   You ain't seen nothin' yet.  Lol

The 24 times Trump has accused somebody of "treason"

President Trump has accused people or entities of committing treason at least 24 times since he was elected, according to a Factba.se record of his comments. His most recent target is the New York Times, which published a story on Saturday reporting that the U.S. is stepping up its online attacks on Russia's power grid.

Why it matters: Treason is one of the most serious crimes an American can commit, and is punishable by death. The president freely using the term to attack his political enemies, without evidence, is not normal.

The big picture: Trump has most frequently used "treason" or "treasonous" to describe the investigations into his campaign's ties to Russia, which he has claimed are politically motivated. He has also used the term to attack Democrats for their policies on immigration and various media outlets for reporting on his administration.

Most references come in the form of tweet or interviews with Fox News, but Trump has also accused people of treason while participating in press conferences with foreign leaders, like NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg and South Korea President Moon Jae-in.

“You know what we used to do in the old days when we were smart, right? The spies and treason, we used to handle it a little differently than we do now.”

We all know the filthy maga traitor cunts are traitors to the USA. Fucking treasonous traitors

Based on a tip from inside a McDonalds, dude was pulled off a bus.

Cops must have alerted McDonald's to be on the lookout due to evidence he used McDonald's wifi at other locations.

Backlash continued to build over the weekend against UnitedHealthcare following the shocking assassination of CEO Brian Thompson and a subsequent rant by parent company UnitedHealth’s CEO Andrew Witty, during which he defended the insurer’s practices as justified in order to prevent “unnecessary” care.

These douchebags just don't get it.  Insurance is there to help with medical expenses.  The 'Deny, Defend and Depose' written on the bullets were meant to send a message.  Obviously, dipshit witty didn't get the memo...

(NewsNation) — A primary care physician in the wake of a UnitedHealthcare CEO’s killing has highlighted growing frustrations within the medical community over insurance company practices, particularly aggressive claim denials.

Dr. Saju Mathew, a 20-year veteran physician, told NewsNation Monday that insurance companies are increasingly blocking critical medical procedures through complex “prior authorization” processes.

“We as doctors have been crying, screaming on the top of our lungs regarding how lots of insurance companies are denying claims on a daily basis,” Mathew said on “NewsNation Now.” He cited examples of patients being unable to obtain routine tests like mammograms without extensive bureaucratic hurdles.

The doctor’s comments come after the fatal shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in Manhattan, which has sparked a national conversation about health care industry practices.

On social media in particular, some users gloated about the killing, a reaction they framed as rooted in their enmity for the health insurance industry. That, in turn, brought rebukes from others who condemned those responses as inhumane, especially in the circumstances.

Luigi Mangione, 26, was arrested as a person of interest and was reportedly found with a three-page manifesto expressing anger toward corporate America.

Shell casings at the scene had words written on them with markers said to have included “Depose,” “Deny,” and “Defend.”

Mathew said that UnitedHealthcare denies one in three claims, a trend he says is symptomatic of a broader industry problem. The company reported $281 billion in revenue last year.

“But it’s just not UnitedHealthcare. It’s really all insurance companies,” he said.

Mathew argued that meaningful change would require congressional action, suggesting legislators should mandate transparency about insurance denial rates and restore medical decision-making power to physicians and patients.

Killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO uncorks anger at insurance industry
“No. 1, we should be able to make sure that people understand which insurance companies have the highest denial rate,” Mathew said.

The physician called for removing insurance companies’ ability to arbitrate medical necessities, particularly in critical procedures like knee replacements for patients with severe arthritis.

A recent KFF poll spotlights Mathew’s concerns, revealing that 97% of registered voters believe insurance companies bear significant responsibility for high health care prices.

A February report from KFF found that Americans owe “at least $220 billion” in medical debt and that about 3 million people have debts of over $10,000.

Hey folks this story is tracking a LOT over on Twitter/X, and a lot of people have sympathy and admiration for Luigi Mangione, the 26 yr old Ivy League Graduate who is charged with lethally shooting in the back, The CEO of UHC Brian Thompson (father of 2 young sons).   What's even more bizarre, this young man's supposed good looks are eliciting posts from many Providers who post on Twitter, who express infatuation and lust for this young man despite his horrific (alleged) crimes....

I mean I agree with EVERYTHING this young man said about US healthcare and insurance and how dysfunctional and fucked up it all is....he's totally correct....and yet NOTHING....NONE of that, REMOTELY justifies or explains away or mitigates this horrific act of violence!

I must agree with the sentiment.  The fucked up system brought on this fucked up result.  The insurance industry is in part, along with the pharmaceutical industry and medical industry responsible for why our USA health care costs are triple + what other western/advanced countries pay.  In no way do I condone violence to try and fix it.  But I understand it and I understand why someone could be driven to violence because of it.  (I also had multiple back surgeries and fortunately have come out with a positive result)

Leave it to the filthy maga traitor cunts to falsely claim "ALL" dems and liberals support this shooting.  Dumb filthy maga traitor cunts.

71% of Americans like the quality of HC they receive and 2 out of 3 like what their plan covers.

I would never advocate violence, but Brian Thompson is responsible for thousands, maybe millions of American’s deaths.

Holy fuck willy!  We agree on something!  Unbelievable.  Don't let Qamoron conspiracies taint this one, ok?

He advocates violence on this board all the time.
Especially lately. Here's his most recent spewing:

Democrats Are A Threat To Democracy.
We really need to be thinking about taking away banking services from them, taking away police protection, taking away fire department protection, certainly taking away welfare and social security from them and not let them use public facilities like public schools. Democrats also carry more diseases so we shouldn’t let them use hospitals either."

…I also think that by law, all Democrats should be forced to have their socks super glued into their shoes so that they either have to A) wash their shoes endlessly in the washing machine or B) always wear dirty socks.

Bwahahahahaha!!!!

so he'd have to stay at work to make up for all the taxpayer time he wasted dialing it in from home while stoned during Covid. Of course he'd have to sit in his own excrement but that would just make his butt more like his brain.

This will actually be an issue. Federal workers typically have some telecommute days. We weirdly have too many federal buildings not being used (a lot for record keeping), but many federal offices just don’t have room for all the staff. Washington DC also has a horrific traffic congestion issue. Telecommuting helps with this issue. If we lose all telecommuting then there will be a severe issue commuter lot space, and office space. Quite frankly, many government office buildings ought to be demolished and replaced with new buildings. Many are leaky old buildings from the 50’s and 60’s with asbestos and all kinds of problems.

I wasn't roasting you for HAVING telecommute days. I was roasting you for what you have admitted doing with them: not working and getting stoned at home while on the government payroll.

When having to fill out spreadsheet after spreadsheet, having more focus is key. Assuming you’re going to get your work done. Personally, I focus best when I’m sober, when smoking weed I usually put on some Black Sabbath or Pink Floyd, make a few margaritas and see how long it takes me to fall off my office chair. Covid lockdowns were not good for my liver.

Personally, I prefer Vodka. As for work, I haven't had to do that in decades.
I hear Wanker is allergic to work, as shown here:

Americans' fury at the health insurance industry has continued to build in the wake of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson's murder in New York City last week.

NBC News reported Wednesday that many Americans have become increasingly angry over health insurers' denials of claims for doctor-prescribed medication and healthcare procedures. The network cited a 2023 survey by the Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF) in which 60% of respondents said that they had "experience[d] problems" when trying to actually use the insurance they pay for, which includes insurance companies refusing to pay for their care.

I know someone who is a department head at UHC, and he said they also have a contract with the federal government to "process" Medicare claims.  Medicare has stepped up denials of coverage the last few years, but it's really UHC making the decisions.  If you appeal, which Medicare allows, it will be reviewed by Medicare directly and not UHC contractors.

I'm fortunate to have the resources to tell providers that anything my insurance doesn't cover I will pay for at the same rate had the insurance company covered it, because I don't want to forego any diagnostics that might turn up something that needs to be treated.  I wasn't always in this position and I'm VERY sympathetic to those that have to fight for their coverage after paying into a plan for years and years.

Good. Glad no Qamoron conspiracies have tainted this for you. Yet.

In October, a report from the U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations showed that the nation’s insurers have been using AI-powered tools to deny some claims from Medicare Advantage plan subscribers.

The report found that UnitedHealthcare’s denial rate for post-acute care — health care needed to transition people out of hospitals and back into their homes — for people with Medicare Advantage plans rose to 22.7% in 2022, from 10.9% in 2020.
