1. Does anyone proof read supposed professional media publications? Really, her said. Really?

It's not just lefty gossipidy goop, but 9 out of 10 electronic media publication articles I read have obvious typos.

Aren't they trying to sell a product?

2. That in and of itself isn't a connection to Yale.

How's that Russia investigation going?

Lie detector tests are not admissible in court.

You're Welcome
At Failure30 We LaUgH

Sixty five  women Kavanaugh knew in high school have testified he always treated women with respect.

Christine Ford does not recall the year of her accusation.
She doesn't recall how she got to the party.
She doesn't recall who owned the home.

How hard would  that lie detector test be?
Was her Lie detector examiner an ex FBI agent?
Is  he also  a Democrat Shill?

Not for "doing the right thing" or having even the slightest bit of compassion for Kavanaugh's accuser, only an idiot would believe this whole thing is not politically motivated. That said, I have to give her credit for throwing what is looking more and more like a very effective Hail Mary pass as time was winding down on the clock. It wasn't long ago that the chances of the Dems being able to stop Kavanaugh's confirmation where just about zero. It's still rather likely that he is confirmed, but regardless of what happens over the next few days there will always be a taint to his name and even more important this issue is going to hurt the Reps in November.

BTW this really is not a reply to your post, it's just that I had to put it "somewhere" and pretty much everyone else on this thread is TSTTT.

I doubt the Dems are really going to stop Trump from getting at least one more of his conservative picks onto the Court, but just remember  a couple of years ago it looked like the GOP was taking a terrible gamble in not confirming Garland who at the time looked to be the best they could hope for, considering the chances were very high that not only was Hillary going to be elected POTUS, but that if the Senate and House had both flipped along with her that the Dems could have rammed through anyone they wanted, so never say never. I can't imagine the Senate turning blue, but in the unlikely event that it does, it's highly doubtful that Trump will be able to get anyone on his "list" confirmed.

I know I am only giving Feinstein credit for being a slimy, dishonest, and underhanded politician with no morals whatsoever, but hey praise is praise, right? lol

I actually agree with you.  What this is about is control of the Supreme Court for decades. It's simply a political/ideological battle for the soul of America. If the Dems can string it out and keep Kavanaugh from being confirmed until after the election, if the Dems prevail in the House and Senate it's game over for Trump, the Repubs and K.  In raw political terms that's what it's all about.

Not to mention the fact that Feinstein, Ford's lawyer, and most likely Ford herself are making a mockery of what "real" victims of sexual battery have to go through, don't you?

That said, Feinstein is doing a great job of it, and even if she loses this last minute gambit (I say last minute although it looks likely that she's been planning this for months), even if she loses I bet you it's going to more to help the Dems than the Reps unless she is totally unmasked for what she is and what she is doing, and the likelihood of that happening is about the same as both fatty twins saying something smart on the same day. lol

I say it's still a longshot that the Dems get to have much control over the next two SC picks. Even if Kavanaugh doesn't get confirmed, unless the Dems can flip the Senate, which is HIGHLY unlikely, Trump will just pick the next guy on his list, and don't forget Ruthie is older than RY and BBBBB put together, so a third pick by Trump is exceedingly likely especially since he is going to be POTUS until 2024. lol

For the record, I can live with gridlock if the Dems win the House, (which they should) Trump has already done most of what I was hoping he would do, he gutted Obamacare and he passed the tax cuts, most of his other accomplishments had to do with deregulation and undoing Obama's previous EO's, which he could have done without any help from Congress. The things that he wants to do in the future would be "The Wall" which I don't give two shits about. Tax reform 2.0 which will make the cuts to the middle class permanent, something the Dems are going to have to think long and hard about voting against, and finally an infrastructure bill, which most Dems should be in favor of anyhow.

One last thing about what Feinstein has accomplished, she is going to take the record setting performance of the stock market and the booming economy right off the front page, I guarantee you the Sunday morning news shows aren't going to spend five minutes combined talking about Trumps successes, Sunday morning is going to be mainly about Ford/Kavanaugh, but hopefully a lot of discussion about the loathsome Rob Rosenstein as well.

But you have conveniently ignored the fact that Republicans have played even bigger games in the past, like their blatant blocking of Garland when there were nearly 300 days left in Obama's term.  So any games played by Democrats are fine with me.  As someone once said, this ain't beanbag.

I haven't ignored anything of the kind. I am on record, both then and now, stating that the GOP was taking a huge risk by not confirming Garland. I have also condemned the Ken Starr witch hunt just as strongly as I am condemning the current witch hunt being conducted by Mueller.

Let me ask you this, Do you HONESTLY believe the allegations by Ford/Feinstein regarding Kavanaugh? Or are you at least honest enough to admit that "the games" as you call them (and to which I agree) that the Dems are playing are just that, games that they are playing in a last ditch effort to block the confirmation of a guy they opposed before even knowing his name?

I find it hugely ironic that Dems are claiming that they "just want the truth to come out" they don't give even a single fuck about the truth, they don't give a single fuck whether or not Ford is telling the truth, the don't give a single fuck if Kavanaugh is actually guilty of anything, they just want to block Trump's nominee, and if they get their way with Kavanaugh, they are going to redouble their efforts on the next guy.

Now THAT'S a rhetorical question!
As for the rest, are you really dumb enough to imagine I'd waste one second going back to read what you wrote about the Garland nomination?  (Rhetorical question #2).
I DO believe the allegations by Ford.  And polls say most people do.  Am I certain?  Nope.  But I also wrote above (did you miss it) that it's all games on BOTH sides.
All the Democrats care about is derailing this nomination until after the election.  All the Republicans care about is ramming it through BEFORE the election.
Like I said (and which you seem to have forgotten) this ain't beanbag.

Lives his or her life in accordance to the S.C. ?

I guess you'll come out, and say something about abortion rights. Like abortion Is going away. There are government programs that pay private sector medical institutions, to perform abortions on women. College campuses have on campus clinics. Abortion isn't going anywhere.

No one "Lives his or her life in accordance" with the Supreme Court?  Well, actually, all of us do.  Every ruling the court makes affects millions of people, depending on the case.  And not only if you want an abortion.  The court in recent years has ruled on gun rights, the rights of corporations to pay for political ads, the rights of union workers, and on and on.  In 2000, the court basically elected George W. Bush. If you can't connect the dots, it's hardly a surprise.  We should elect you SPOAT.

BBbecky74 reads

With one eye closed.

Gun rights - Plenty of people disobey gun laws.

Corporations paying for political ads - Who gives a shit if they can or can not buy political ads? Its their money.

Unions - They take the worker's money, whether or not that worker wants representation or not.

Elected GWB - The Electoral College made that decision.

Basicly you can't see what's happening in front of you.

Exhibit A: Most people obey gun laws, the rest are subject to arrest.  Both situations are governed by laws approved by the Supreme Court.
Exhibit B: "Who gives a shit?" The fact that corporations now have a right to buy all the ads they want results from the Citizens United ruling by the Supreme Court.  Corporate money has made our system even more corrupt than it already was.  This affects you more than you know.
Exhibit C: More and more unions are being forced to to become "open shops" where workers do NOT have to contribute to the union.  Courtesy of, you guessed it, the Supreme Court.
Exhibit D: The reason The Electoral College went Bush's way was because the Supreme Court ruled in his favor re the vote in Florida.
Ergo: You are a dunce on all points.

Some one is running for office these accusation come out?

While I don't doubt that she was, in fact, sexually assaulted in high school, I think it's very difficult for her to prove that it was Kavanaugh and his buddy who were the assaulters.  Unless she had contact with him routinely since high school, I can't imagine she could have picked him out of a crowd today.  I'm a bit older than both of them.  When I go to a HS reunion, I need to look at nametags to determine who the person is.  She went to an all-girls HS and he went to an all-boys HS, so they didn't see each other every day for four years.

This disclosure was a brilliant political move by Feinstein.  It's a way to provide an excuse for the Red State democrat senators up for reelection to vote no.  It's a way to possibly flip a couple of republican senators.  If I were the woman, I would be pretty pissed that Feinstein held my letter from early July to the last minute.  Being a PhD and university professor, I'm sure she's smart enough to understand that she's being used as a political pawn and that nobody, including Feinstein, really cares about her and her assault.  She should have gone to TMZ or MSNBC back in July.

Concerning polygraphs, in addition to not being admissible in court, simply indicate deception or not.  Having taken a few myself during my working years, you can pass (i.e.:  no deception indicated) by either telling the truth all the time or lying all the time.

For some reason Woody Allen was in the news yesterday. Why? If he does appropriate things, or in appropriate things. I can't find the relevance to those not directly affected. Much like the M2M, if Trump wasn't running in 2016, I don't think that would have been a nightly feature on every news network.

Oh hell yeah he did it.Both were 17 yo knuckleheads. And how old was the girl? 15?? See what going to an all boys school will do to you.
I hope he can look at his girls and hope they don't run into a asshole like their dad.
And the girl being 15 yo, she may not remember how she got there or who's house it was (really that's a dumb ass comment) but she'll remember something that traumatic. I've been to dozen of parties/get together while in HS and I don't remember a whole lot...except when as a 16yo junior I got a BJ from a 17yo senior cheerleader in a car. I don't know who's car it was, although I think it was Hectors. I don't recall how I got there. Who's house it was...but I do remember blowing my wad on her face...lol
But, BK will get through....then I hope there's a major take over and he'll be the first on the list to get impeached in 2021

Guilty as hell, and he knows it ..and there is a lot more that has  been  covered up through his  college career  over the  years because  of his influential  parents.

Eventually he would have "grown" up. But this behavior didn't end in his senior year of HS. Bet your last dollar it carried over into his college years. And some are probably saying, "Yeah he tried that shit with me". But being that he looks a little wimpish I think most girl backhanded his sorry ass and he ran.
But I have a question, what if you would have knock up this Ford chick? Would he have had her abort it or??? But being the knucklehead that he was he would have done a belly flop on her while she was pregnant.

Who knew she taught lie detector test preparation ?

"Grassley said in the letter that the committee had received a sworn statement from an unidentified ex-boyfriend of Ford's that raised "specific concerns about the reliability of her polygraph examination results."
"The Senate therefore needs this information," he said in the letter.
The former boyfriend reportedly told the committee that he dated Ford from 1992 to 1998 and that he witnessed Ford, a psychologist, once help a friend prepare to take a lie-detector test."

Yes, this is something that should be investigated, probably by the FBI, not the Senate. The women who was alleged to have been coached by Ford has denied that the incident took place or that she was ever coached for any of her polygraph tests. (She works for the Feds and gets tested periodically.) She did not say, "I don't remember." She did not say, "I was too drunk to remember." She said, "It did not happen." He said - She said. He says he witnessed coaching. Ford and the other women say no such thing ever happened.

Kavanaugh did not say "I don't remember" he did not say "I was too drunk to remember" he said "it did not happen" Ford said it happened, both Judge and Kavanaugh say no such thing happened.

Do you at least get the irony of your statement?

As for why the Senate needs this info, that should be obvious, it's the Senate who decides whether or not to confirm Judge Kavanaugh, not the FBI. If this were to rise to the level of a criminal investigation, which I suppose is possible considering this woman might have lied to the federal government,  THEN it would be up to the FBI to investigate.

I do use the same standard.
.
The cases start out as He said - She said. Then it turns out that there was talk on Ford's HS campus that 'something happened' (at that time, 1982). Then it turns out that Ford discussed this with a few other people, starting with her shrink in 2012. That and other evidence (BK was a drunken lout, according to some people who knew him), the other accusations, takes it beyond the simple He - She saids. A full FBI investigation could help to settle the matter in detail.
.
Did the Ford BF talk to others at that time or soon after? Maybe down at the bar or gym: "Lie detector tests? My GF knows about that stuff. She can give you advice. ..." or anything else to back him up. Or the GF admitting to someone, at or near that time, "I was worried about the LD test but my friend gave me some good advice and I did OK." Anybody? Anything? A full FBI investigation could help to settle the matter in detail.
.
Same standard. A HIGH standard, not a sub-standard selective investigation w/o interviewing witnesses reaching out to the FBI with what they feel is relevant, credible evidence and testimony.

I'd be curious enough to read Ford's complete  unedited question and answer lie detector test.
If she agrees to supply that information today,  I'd agree to postpone Kavanaugh vote until next Friday 12th October, if it were up to me.  :-D

With Ford refusing to release  her lie detector test records and psychiatrist  notes in reference to the alleged  assault  I wouldn't postpone Kavanaugh's votes.

This entire accusation is based on she said, who knows where at an unknown date back in time, at someone unknown,  unknown  Home.

Dr. Ford admitted she drank A beer at the party she attended after  who knows invited her and caught a ride there with who knows.
There have been many instances of  someone  claiming  they consumed one beer, when they  had ten.

Without more accurate specific evidence  from the accuser it seems there's extremely too many unknowns, confusion and lies on her part, to possibly prove guilt.

Would  Monica McLean  be quick to admit  she was helped  by Ford,  how to mislead FBI lie detector test?
 I don't believe she would.

I believe the  Democrats last minute lynch mob tactic is  going to help the GOP in mid terms.

 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6235637/Ex-boyfriend-Christine-Ford-says-WASNT-afraid-flying-closed-spaces.html

We don't have to wait till the Mid-terms to re-investigate the lil drunken college asshole during his confirmation. It took his homeboys to roll him over on being a liar and just a  plain jerk. Now this might not lead to anything, probably just a slap on the hand but this is unprecedented. For a fellow Judge in the high court to turn on one of his own...Now how will this set in if there's nothing there. Will there be that "What goes around, comes around" chip on his shoulder attitude?
Wow, trump sure know how to pick them.
