The last USSS head, you know, the one who just resigned, yeh, that one. She openly said her goal was to DEI hire woman USSS agents. I posted about it just a few weeks ago. Why don’t you remember that?

Under Harris/Biden the Secret Service has become the keystone kops.
.
They broke into a salon to go to the toilet.  In doing so they put tape over a security cam.  Looks like a DEI hire.

The Secret Service notified businesses on that block that they needed to close for a Harris event in the area. But they needed access to a bathroom. So they put tape over the salon owner’s security cam and then picked the lock.  The Secret Service has issued an apology. No info on whether they left a fresh toilet paper roll or a can of Febreeze.

I think Lester’s point stands. It’s a Secret Service culture that’s been degraded during the Biden administration. Very likely due to an emphasis on DEI over operational excellence.

Plenty of press coverage of Cheatle’s (a DEI hire herself) efforts along those lines.

“We must embrace diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility (DEIA) across the agency,” wrote Cheatle, a longtime friend of First Lady Jill Biden who was plucked in 2022 from her previous job as global security boss at PepsiCo by President Biden to be the second woman to lead the federal agency. “DEIA must be demonstrated by all employees — leading by example — through ‘every action every day.’”
