Forums exist to post opinion.  Difference of opinion makes forums interesting and worth reading.  If we all held the same opinion, the forum would be neither as informative nor as entertaining.  

Even when I agree with others, my basis for agreement may be different from the reasoning of the other party.  By engaging in an open discussion, perhaps a more valid view of world events may be possible.... or at least that is how I consider value to be derived from this discussion group....  A static position is one that is not conducive to a changing environmnet, nor is it realistic.  Cosidering posibilities is a driving force in understanding of now to improve.

Please don't tell us that was BS to avoid the question of exactly how 'Hispanics from whatever country are being assisted'?

1st.  How is this relevant to this thread?  Your worry, not mine as you have criticized me (and others) for that breach of protocol mercilessly.

2nd.  Providing special assistance to Hispanics... my post was presented as ironic sarcasm... Miami - Little Havana...  Cuba... get it?  Assistance to Hispanics.....  'course that assistance is provided to Hispanics due to a failed DEMOCRATIC Natl Party lunacy....  so you wouldn't recognize it.... (Bay of Pigs etc., although the fall of Batista was partly due to our meddling... and by the way, wasn't Castro in exile in, where was that??, oh yea, MEXICO)  That was really another fine mess our government got themselves into.  But then again, we were just, at that time, establishing a "Real" presence in SE Asia, so perhaps we were distracted.  It is all connected, but somehow, you fail to see that....   Real examples of our (US) paranoid behavior.

And since you have brought us irrelavant things in a post, I have been at POEs.  (neither to be confused with or related to Ted Poe, the "hanging judge in Houston, though)  I am not talking about POEs - I am talking about the thousands of miles with no protection... ya know, where dudes die - trying to cross illegally?  those places.  or where one could (and in fact, in the case of drugs, do) smuggle contraband into the country....  those places.

With respect to minors in jail...(in a previous post by YOU) why were they in a position where they would be picked up anyway?  parents? law abiding? ? what?  Kinda like saying that the kids at Columbine were "late for class" because somehow they were victims of lead poisoning.   Really, what makes you assume that a kid in prison is there innocently?  help me here...
