...Christianity is not the most powerful driving force behind the persistence of Trump supporters, I believe the combination of fears they feel because of the lies both Trump & many of the republicans in congress have fed them  & the shameful direction of prejudice against people of different traditions & belief's drives this persistence. The American people seem to have become so strongly driven by conflict that at times that conflict becomes more important than our care & concern for each other, great if we want to become a land mass of hermits but bad if we want to be able to share in the benefits of the greatness of what America already is.  

Candidate to call the Bush Presidency a complete failure.  He called it like it was and he was pretty much correct on that account. He was never for the Iraq war and in an interview in 2007 said that the U.S. should pull out of Iraq.  He was left with the mess to clean up from two administrations.
