I'm expecting that there's a reason why a campaign costing millions of dollars is worth it at the end. I also expect that Chicago politicians are either corrupt to the core, or are pragmatists who are touched by corruption. I put Obama in the second category, with the hope that everything but his liberal tendencies come out in the wash.  

The Bush family has much the same history of having the whole family rewarded for Dad's good fortune, that is early and often. Like Neil. Like Jeb, and hell, Dubya owes his whole career and presidency to it. Now that was all that was uncovered and known before during and after Dubya's 2000 campaign. Still, the fiscally responsible, meritorious God-fearing and upright Republicans with their true moral compass had no problem with any of it.

We're not talking about Paul Wellstone here. Wellstone, like Kucinich, would have never become president. Why? Well the answer is apparent. They are both too ethical to award anybody else for the honor. Perhaps the better term might be too unrealistic. Becoming president is full of compromises. You hope his central three moral convictions aren't compromised, and that he keeps quiet about them till it's time to bring them out, because as soon as he says them  aloud, everybody knows what you'll give the most for, and so how to get what they want from you.  

If you noticed, anti-lobbyist McCain has had a lobbyist problem, like they were actually running his campaign.  

Therefore, I presume you aren't going to vote for either side, and you'll ridicule both.

Well why didn't you explain by Obama didn't look much worse, maybe by refuting the points in the video instead of going on about Wellstone and Kucinich. WTF do they have to do with the video? Or Obama or McCain.

You didn't catch that? That's right, I was agreeing with the facts, but still supporting Obama. Why? Because it's a two man race, and compared with his opponent, he's still much better and looking better every day. I'm saying that even if they are true, that doesn't shake my support for him.

You couldn't figure it out, but I was comparing Obama to Kucinich and Wellstone, where I would expect something else. But because of that "something else," they never will (or would have) progressed beyond square 1 for the Presidency.  

Now, I meant for that comparison to be disposed of after it was used, but you growled at the name Kucinich wasting bandwith before you got back on topic-- with this one.

Very astute of you to realize Wellstone can't win, what being dead and everything. I'd put my money on Dead Paul being elected over a Live Dennis.
