It is interesting that the dems "Fortunate Son" campaign started the same day as the the CBS/Rather 60 Minutes expose (lol) headlining the "Memo's".
Or that Terry McAuliffe, the DNC's chairman was on TV using keywords like, "sugarcoated" 11 hours before the broadcast?
Anyone who doesn't think this was a coordinated attack in an attempt to sway an election is blind. Kerry is all over this and the way the fallout is coming down, you might see a direct connection within a week.
Still waiting for reputable source. Will you be trotting out your letters in Der Sturmer next? Or are you more of a Pravda contributor?
We all know when a GOP chairman says anything, it has got to be true.
Perhaps the Kerry campaign was gearing up an attack on Bush's guard record after the convention because **That was exactly the strategy the Bush campaign followed after the democratic convention: an attack on Kerry's military service.**
What will happen to your orgasm, Bribite, if Carl Rove is implicated instead? Why would somebody put forward all that effort doing the research and writing that prose, but never think to change the default font in his word processor program? Or to dig up an antique typewriter that you can pick up for $15 bucks? Also, copy it 10 times?
This fraud was meant to be caught, and caught fast.
How does Carl Rove distract and diffuse a punch he knows is coming? Forging these documents would be a perfect way. His timing was impeccable. It has kept his guy in the running for now. But even Rove may not be able to save Yellow Belly.
I have noticed you've not yet defended Bush's guard service, Bribite. Bush didn't make it an issue because he couldn't. The question is whether the "new" Bush we see is any different than the one with the checkered guard service. If so, explain to me, how, when and why he would have changed? Other than he wanted to become the country's number 1 big shot.
And his missing 13 months of records is consistent with his family history. The Bush's have lost or excised important details from its records. Why is the US military serving this end for the Bush's now?
I think you've got political blue balls. Maybe we should call you Blue-brite.

Karl Rove did it? Is that Dan Rathers next scoop? lol
As far as not making military service an issue, I think we have to go back to Ike to see that!
Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush (1) or Clinton - which of those made their military service the centerpiece of their campaigns?
Or Mondale, Dukakis, Dole or Gore?
Kennedy could have, didn't! Ford could have, didn't! Carter could have didn't! Bush (1) could have, didn't! Clinton, never mind, Dole could have and didn't and Gore probably couldn't have, but didn't attempt it.
Military service is not the issue, undermining out Country is, and to that John Kerry didn't get the nickname "Hanoi" for nothing!
You and the dems consistent degrading of National Guard Service is doing nothing more than pissing off the hundreds of thousands of National Guard Veterans. Now that is a great plan.
What you seem unable to conceive is that the documents were forged so poorly by those who are desperate to destroy Bush and then were given to the most rabid partisan in the media, Rather, who just couldn't resist running with it! Now he is destroyed and in his haste he hooked his wagon to your candidate. lol
John Kerry is a walking billboard for the slogan, "What goes around, comes around!"
Kerry may get 10 states, its going to be a landslide, possibly the worst one sided victory in American Presidential history!
You said: "Kerry may get 10 states, its going to be a landslide, possibly the worst one sided victory in American Presidential history!".......Sorry, no repeat of 1984 is going to happen where Reagan won 49-1....(If Bush wins 49-1, I'm clicking on the link below & buying a one-way ticket & staying there, sort of like what Alec Baldwin said, LOL)....
No way, no how, no chance will Bush win in a landslide....If he does somehow win, he'll probably have 272 electoral votes....
Kerry will win CA, NY, Illinois: that's already 110 electoral votes......That will offset 12 Bush states including Texas...
It will be close but America is ready for, & desperately needs a change...

I only mention it as a possibility. Neither of us know.
We're probably not going to know if it was Rove. It's too well planned. The tracks will be too well covered. But I don't think he could set it up to make it look like the Kerry campaign did it.
I wouldn't say Kerry made it the "centerpiece," Bribite. The fact that he had been in Vietnam and was decorated needed to be contrasted with Bush. I think you, and the Republicans, are just resentful of the disparity. The subsequent attack on it was the "centerpiece" of the Republican campaign, as Bush has nothing to boast about.
The dems degrading Guard Service is a riot. ROTFLMAO! So, guardsmen under fire in the Iraq Bush-war are going to be insulted with democrats pointing out that Bush used Guard duty to avoid war. It's a slim chance, but I suppose it could work that way.
Your point about Rather? So, I take it, any journalist is also a typesetter? Did you know anything about type-fonts before this happened?
/Zin
That is just too funny, your imbeciles bungle and the Rove connection will be forever in your mind! That's one of the reasons you guys keep losing.
"Reporting for Duty"? A DNC with very little other that Kerry's military service? and "I wouldn't say Kerry made it the "centerpiece," That's rich, even coming from you! lol
The dems degrade military service by not supporting the military! Check your parties votes on military funding!
As a business owner responsible for advertising, web sites and image, and as someone who remembers life before the PC, yes I was fairly well acquainted with "Fonts" before September 8th, 2004.
And no my point is that with all the available "witnesses" who could bring doubt to Rather's story, he used none of them. He ran with a fairy tail and it has destroyed him. His professional life is riddled with one sided reporting and it finally came home to roost! I am very pleased that it did. Again, what comes around, goes around!
If you find it funny, share the punch-line. It wouldn't be the first thing like this Rove has done. It's exactly the reason Bush hired him.
The reason why it would be so easy to cover up is that he would have had a lot of time to prepare it. It wouldn't take an extensive conspiracy, perhaps one person to "type" it up, with the material already at hand, and perhaps an inside person at CBS news. No paper trail. Not too many potential snitches or turncoats. Also, unlike a political assassination, what's the crime? How much guilt or second thoughts could your operatives have? It helps to have members inoculated against the notion of extreme skullduggery in your own ranks, as you obviously are.
As a contributor/volunteer to the democratic party and the Kerry campaign, I have my own reasons for doubting the Kerry campaign was behind it. I noticed only a single email from them regarding Bush's guard service, and that was two days after the CBS story broke, when the authenticity was still being debated. They were hardly leading up to it, hardly ready to "push" it afterwards.
No, I don't think "reporting for duty" was Kerry's centerpiece. We're getting his centerpiece now, and he's been burying Bush with it.
/Zin
That's rich! So Kerry's panic driven drivel is the centerpiece of his campaign (this week)? As a "contributor/volunteer" to the Kerry campaign, did you even what the Dem Convention? Vietnam was all Kerry talked about after the 20 minute fantasy produced by Steven Spielberg. And the never to be forgotten request by John Edwards to "ask the people who served with him" brain storm!
I wonder how you reacted to the fact the Terry McAuliffe was using the same language as the 60 Minute hit piece 11 hours before its airing? Just coincidence? Or maybe, just maybe McAuliffe got a little preview, or writer credit! Or CBS's ability to gain an DNC audience for the malcontent/mental patient who brought the "memo's" to CBS. The DNC at a minimum is neck deep in this, and it may reach all the way to Kerry himself.
As for Rove, if cows had wings...! However, even if it did happen the way your imagination has sorted it out, it still speaks volumes about Dan Rather's rush to discredit a sitting President just prior to an election. And it has given light to his other one sided hit pieces in the past, destroyed his credibility and his employers.
Dems tend to suport military people, GOP to support bigger formations with good systems. Lately GOP has been overusing the people while dorking them on benefits.
Like Kerry did in 1971? Of course Kerry was surrounded by other Dems in their support back then!
