And ChicKenShit isn’t the only righty moron.  His fellow righty idiots who replied to the X post also think the settlement is for $30 million.  One imbecile replied: “I wish he’d gotten twice that.”  Another dolt posted: “Should have been $300 million.”  

 
CKS175 also inadvertently proved that X is bullshit compared to real journalism.  His second link is from NPR which never even mentioned “$30 million” once, let alone three times as ChicKenShit did.  NPR reported that the plaintiff sued for $10 million in actual damages and an additional $20 million in exemplary damages.  

 
There’s no way the plaintiff will be given exemplary damages in a settlement.  That’s something a jury decides, based on how outrageous the defendant’s contact was.   The plaintiff will probably wind up with somewhere between 5 and 10 million.
