How does the political debate that the framers wanted hurt the country?  Ruining an army, trashing our reputation abroad, and bankrupting us and our children for no effect are a little more destructive to our nation than pointing out  that it is going on! And clueless fucks are participating in that moral decay by telling us to be quiet.

Look at the Emperor! Note the lack of clothing.  Then pop off!

The late 60s and 70s SAVED this country- put us on a better path for all of us.  Now we are back to a wrong way.

I was talking about destroying social seciruity, our standing respect and pretsige in the world, any social fabric whatsoever and any resemblence of fiscal responsibility.

But, hey, who really gives two shits about that stuff right?

My point was that "besting" (in his words)   =   fucking the country....at least in this case.

No religious philosipher including Jesus would approve of this kind of "besting" as he puts it......

That was my point.

a red state issue.  This guy is lucky he didn't get his ass kicked.  I think it shows that the good people in the stands had a little tolerance and showed restraint by not beating the shit out of a Hollywood type that came into their venue under false pretense for the sole purpose of his own financial gain.  Or is your slam on the manager that allowed this person to come in and sing the National Anthem?  If he had refused his request because he was a foreigner or the reason of the visit, would you be lampooning him for discrimination??

Somebody in Entertainment falling for this?  Ali G is pretty well known in the E-world.  He is a equal opportunity piss taker outer (see Boutros Boutros Gali interview).  He's been funny for three years(5 if you count Europe)-

He is not a Hollywood type, he is English.

Had he been refused, I would have crdited the manager with a clue.

As the body bags pile up worldwide for their incredible lack of knowledge and judgement, it is almost a requirement that we hold the Red States accountable for their asinine behaviour.  I personally give all red-staters shit for their mental midgetry at every turn.  I get a lot of sheepish- "well I didn't vote for that moron", or the kind of uninformed drivel you spout that is easily pushed aside.  Have yet to meet a Bush voter who makes sense.  I have met some who switched to others this election- it is only the people who were fooled twice whose behaviour is shameful.  

Clearly your situation is normal- all fouled up.

likewise dumbass examples from the blue states.  Just don't forget that when you impune everyone in a red state, you forget that many had 40+% voting for your guy.  Likewise for all of you bluestaters (even those in my once great Minnesota) that think your crap doesn't stink and you have all the answers, remember there's a hell of a lot of red state transplants keeping you fed, secured, financed, educated, counseled etc just going about their day working, praying and providing for their families while you sit on your self proclaimed intellectual throne.

When you rub a dogs face in its shit, you are doing so to its good impulses too.  The hope is to shame the smart voters into making a better case to the dullards!  

Believe me I have to apologise to my Euro relatives and friends -on a regular basis these last few years, so I feel tarred with the same red brush.  That's why I feel so enraged by our turn toward a national cult of stupidity.

It is shitty to be embarrassed to be an American- I feel it now as I never did in the 70s!  I finally understand those interviews with the Germans mortified to find they had participated in such evil!  I realize we are NOT a totalitarian evildoer- but this national winter of the soul is still a BAD thing.

Had the Guy walked into a NAACP meeting and started shouting the N-word, you'd have written racist attacked by offended blacks.

He is an ENTERTAINER- he does not espouse a political view.  

But for an entertainment executive not to understand who he is and to let oneself be hoodwinked- a dumb move.

So now you associate a rodeo promoter to being an entertainment executive.  Would you say he's most similar to savvy guy like Michael Eisner from Disney or perhaps a street smart trailblazer like Spike Lee, or maybe he's in Spielberg's class OR maybe he's just a rodeo promoter that takes people at their word and he was lied to by this jackass.  For that, you call him stupid.  You should be careful, he might be from Massachusetts or California!  It was a humerous story, but you are the one that made in political.
