Eugene Ludwig was the comptroller for the currency back in the 90’s. He wrote a pretty eye opening piece for Politico. What if everything we know about the economy, from the unemployment rate to economic growth to inflation is all wildly wrong? Not just a little off, but *wildly* off? Article linked below is worth the read.

When Team Biden was using macro numbers to tell the public that the economy was good, the "micro" side, i.e. the American people were telling him he was wrong. Personally, I am sick and tired of Democratic "expert" talking heads still telling us the people are/were still wrong about the Biden economy. It's total arrogance.
.
For whatever reason (and I blame Covid 90% for the inflation) people's buying power and views of the economy in general was much less the last 4 years than the previous 4. You cant talk your way out of that. You cant tell people what they are experiencing isnt real. That is condescending, out of touch and elitist.
.
As Carville stated, this was always going to be a "change election" but we gave the people more of the same.
