With the Kennedy Center a lot of the performers were boycotting it. And no one absolutely HAS to go there because the performers will appear elsewhere. But if you need to fly internationally from the DC area you'd have to go to another nearby city like Baltimore. And there's no substitute for Penn Station at all if you have to commute to Long Island. Anyway, the next Democratic President will just change the names back. Personally, I'd love it if Trump were forced to watch his name come down and then forced to watch the demolition of his Big Beautiful Ballroom.
In another thread, we are discussing the renaming of Penn Station and Dulles Airport. In my opinion, people will just boycott both of them. Kind of like the Trump-Kennedy Center.
But, we haven't discussed that Trump is closing down the Center for two years for "renovations". I tried to find the most nonpartisan source of information about this closure, and I ended up with PBS. Y'all can take it from here.

I do not know the specifics of traveling through NYC on the train. Trains and subways generally scare me unless I've had way too much to drink. I assumed that you could just go through Grand Central Station.
But the majority of the fine people of Long Island should have no qualms about traveling through Trump Station.
And, yes, Trump won Long Island in 2024. Suffolk County, the furthest east, is solid red while Nassau, which is closer to NYC generally, but not always, goes blue. Remember George Santos, a Republican, won there before having to resign in disgrace.
So people would just stop using that airport because it is named TRUMP? People would stop using a public train because it is renamed "trump".
It is like you think people stop going down a road because it was "renamed". That doesn't happen. Or if it actually does that is that individuals problem... and it is a mental one.
