I live near Cincinnati.  There is a local city election in which there will probably be a write-in candidate(s), on paper "chad" ballots.  You can not run write-in ballots through the machines to count the votes.  You have to hand inspect each one.  Ohio's electoral votes can't be decided until Cincinnati's ballots are in.  So we very well may not know how Ohio, a very key state, swings election night because of these local yahoos and their write-in candidates.
