Photographs acquired by Reuters and taken about an hour after the U.S. assault on Osama bin Laden's compound in Abbottabad in Pakistan show three dead men lying in pools of blood, but no weapons.
The photos, taken by a Pakistani security official who entered the compound after the early morning raid on Monday, show two men dressed in traditional Pakistani garb and one in a t-shirt, with blood streaming from their ears, noses and mouths.

It is graphic, and someone is dead. But the photo itself doesn't tell much. A person can end up dead and looking like that in 10,000 ways. From that picture you can't tell how many people were involved, how many shots were fired, whether the dead guy fired any shots, wheher he was armed, whether he had any other wounds.
Likewise, you don't know what happened in the room between the fatal shot and the photo being taken. Was there a gun, was it moved, was anything moved.
It is the perfect Rorschach inkblot test. You see what you want to see. There is nothing in the picture from which any forensic inference can be drawn.
If I am wrong, describe anyone detail and tell me what that detail proves, other than someone is dead, which we knew before.
Not only that, but these photos have been out for several days. What do they prove: that someone took a photo of some guys, somewhere, who appear to be dead. I believe they are what they appear to be but can I (or anyone) prove it? No. Same would go for a "Dead Osama" pic if the gov. had provided it. We'd just be arguing over how many ways it could have been/was doctored.

Osama Bin Laden's (OBL) infamy will result in his death having various permutations such as sightings of him in Tora Bora, Tahiti etc. for years to come; television movies will be produced; son of OBL documentaries will be shown. On a substantive level I am hearten by the fact his death coincided with Arab spring. Arab peoples throughtout the middle-east can look for ways out of misery and a better way of life than carrying around an Ak-47 or having bombs strapped around your body.
