I have been hearing radio commericials run by the NRA talking about Obama taking away the 2nd Amendment rights of the citizenry. They are propagating the idea that citizens won't be able to protect themselves.

I say who gives a damn if Obama and company enact radical gun control laws. Laws mean nothing when the patriotic element in the population recognize them as being a overwhelming breach of the contract between the government and the people -the Constitution.

Those out there who actually have the intestinal fortitude to use their weapons when necessary and those who really stand for gun rights will righteously ignore the bastards who choose to ignore the Constitution. Those who would hand over their guns to these treasonous bastards who want to take them away don't deserve the right to bear arms.

So unless the government were able to spontaneously combust your weapons after the signing of a bill, what the hell is everyone concerned about? Being overtly concerned about this is a sign that a person lacks the courage necessary to stand up to a rogue governent with courage and resolve when and if they choose to overstep their boundaries.

The thing is the government can only get away with that sort of behavior for so long. You saw how they acted with that tax resister in Vermont a few months back, they didn't burn down his house or otherwise murder him. They know that another incident will bring them one more step toward revealing to the masses their tyrannical nature.

We need to force the government to take off their mask and show themselves for the tyrants they are so the sheep can be herded in another direction, a radical revolutionary direction.

So bring on the gun laws Washington and have fun taking the guns out of the hands of the patriotic element.

Count me as one that would refuse to hand over my firearms to a leftwing government run amok, but don't expect me to be happy about it, if and I repeat, if the time ever came.

I mean we have already let them erode our liberties quite a bit as it is. I certainly don't like the idea of people getting killed as the ATF and FBI agents working for the government have little say in these laws being passed. But more importantly, these people make a conscious choice to serve the beast so they are not innocent.

I don't like the idea of disorder and violence for the sake of it playing out but what we have now in this country is organized anarchy and you are a fool if you think the traitors in government and their masters are going to give back their ill gotten gains because we ask them nicely to do so.

You and I agreeing on anything.  You can count me as one that would not give up my firearms and fight to keep them from a rogue govenment.  The only way they would be getting my ammunition would be from the end of the barrel, and a rather short barrel I might add.

Let's be clear about this.  The NRA *actually* believes that Obama wants to *repeal* the 2nd Amendment.

Let's think about this for a second.  Repeal the 2nd Amendment.  Think about the logistics in order to accomplish this.

Repealing (I believe) would require 2/3rds of both the House *and* Senate.  Yes, there is a high probability (regardless if Obama wins or not) that the House & Senate will pick up a large number of Democrats.  However, overwhelmingly speaking a large number of those Democrats do *not* agree with any form of gun control, are avid gun owners, and are members of the NRA.  Even with a large proportional number of Dems in the House and Senate there's still a sizable number of Republicans many of which (like their Dem counterparts) do not agree with gun control, avid gun owners, and are members of the NRA.

The second problem is logic.  Why the *fuck* would Obama (or even McSAME) even *think* about Gun Control, let alone repealing the 2nd Amendment?  Think about what the hell is going on in the world:

1.  2 HUGE wars in Iraq & Afghanistan
2.  The economic crisis
3.  The Energy crisis
4.  The Healthcare crisis
5.  Struggling education system
6.  The struggle against terrorism
7.  Global warming

Seriously.  Gun control?  Really?  Give me a fucking break.

Finally, let's say all of the above are ignored and Obama decides to go for repealing the 2nd amendment (like the NRA believes).  Seriously, think about the media coverage.  Think about not only the Republicans against this, but Obama's fellow Democrats.

Honestly, with the REAL problems in the world, people are honestly concerned with "gun control" let alone "repealing the 2nd amendemnt?"

GET FUCKING REAL.

You need to read more about legislation . Biden tried to outlaw semi auto shotguns like a lot hunt with and  The 2nd amendment would not have to be repealed in order for this to happen.
