According to the article, no & I'd agree. It's one thing running a campaign using "predatory business scorched earth tactics" to lure in "low info voters" to win the Presidency, quite another thing to govern, with over half the country despising you & losing the popular vote by 2.5 million.

What goes around comes around & I predict that's gonna bite Trump on his fat ass ASAP.

"I predict."

But please keep with the "low info voter" obsession. You have used that term, what, 3 times today already? 4? LOL

Looking down on the peeps that voted against Hills in those rust belt states is EXACTLY the right plan for winning them back! rotf!

Low info voters could also apply to Johnson & Stein voters, as well as those who sat it out.

As to the 3 rust belt states , she  currently leads by 2.5 million in the popular vote, she couldn't squeeze an extra 200k voters from those 3 states, thus winning the Presidency ? A pitiful candidate & campaign; welcome to "Gore redux".

I guess when the Dems win the GOP is supposed to kiss their ass, and when the GOP wins, they are also supposed to kiss their ass.

Actually I think Trump has positioned the GOP and the Dems so both side get part of what they want and accept part of what they don't

The GOP is drooling over the Tax Reform Trump has promised, but true to form are not in favor of the infrastructure bill. The Dems of course abhor anything to do with tax reform, but are very much in favor of spending a trillion bucks. I see both sides getting and giving a little and the end result should be a LOT of money put into play over the next year or two.

As to the election, read in an interesting piece in Forbes; said the polling in the 3 rust belt states were off because a sizeable # of Trump voters, bullied in social media & elsewhere, didn't want to tell pollsters their true preference. Not the 1st time I've heard that, but really interesting nonetheless.

As a fellow Californian, you surely remember the '82 Gubernatorial election when the reverse happened: African-American L.A. Mayor Tom Bradley running against honky George Deukmejian.  Sizeable # of voters didn't want to appear "racist" to the pollsters, claimed to be voting for Bradley, actually voted for Deukmejian. Well known as "The Bradley effect".

As this proves that polling ain't an exact science.

The polling wasn't "off" in those states. Late polling actually showed Trump up in Pa and Mich.

Why the fuck do you think Hills was in Detroit the week of the election and the fact she brought every celeb known to mankind to Philly a few days prior to pimp for her?

And stop with the "bullying" horse shit. Makes libs look like bigger pussies and sore losers than I even think they are. lol

As to the rust belt states, according to the RCP.com averages, she was up in all of them. HRC & her campaign fucked up in those 3 states by not giving them more attention earlier; she hadn't appeared in Wisconsin since April & when she lost to Bernie in Michigan in the primary, it showed a day earlier that she had a sizeable lead, which should have been a warning sign to her then.

As to the "bullying," its a quote from Forbes, a conservative publication, not me. If the low info trump voters are pussies that can be easily bullied, something I can't be faulted about--------  :)

And didn't I already educate you once on the RCP average? Maybe Reagan's Alzheimer's rubbed off on you? LOL

In the last poll in each state, Trump lead in BOTH Mich AND Pa. and this was clearly showing up in both Trumps and Hills internals as NEITHER camp even bothers to look at the RCP average for it is meaningless to them.

Do you even read your bullshit before you hit send or do you do what the Dems did with Obamacare...you know, they read it AFTER they passed it. LO

Like the partisan Dem PPP polls, which I also ignore. Also, better minds than yours ( not a hard sate of mind to be ) had it in the bag for her. Did you see all the pundits & oddsmakers the day before the election? Or even here, "planet stupid," had it about 90% in her favor.

Dude, you really need to calm down, take a joint,or a cocktail, or a tranquilizer, or preferably all 3-------LMFAO !

Lastly, a q  ( & you don't have to answer this ) : are you under the age of 40 ? Would explain a great deal.

And 538 said Clinton was one upset state away from her losing hours before the election.

RCP had it at 272-266 Hills the day before so keep smoking that wacky weed.

As for my age, I am not into guys so don't worry about it. lol

I think BG is more your type anyways as he is into trannies so if he shows up again, feel free to ask him out on a date. :D :D :D

Wow, dude, you have" major issues"----------Google "Freudian projection" about the" problems" you're displaying  here. Do you use an alias to hide the fact that you reviewed Trannies on TER ? Nothing wrong with that, just not my cup of tea-----------BRRRRRRR.

As to your age, I can figure it out now, 20's, perhaps immature early 30's. Also unemployed & living in your Mom's basement ?      :)

He said, "we won, elections have consequences." How soon libs forget eh?

And Trump gave it a big "bon voyage"!

Only we hold the power over ourself if we get this right and Love our Neighbor and not judge another's journey which unique to their own individual experience.  Raise children to respect others.  If you are a man, teach your children and grandchildren how to love and respect a woman.  They will follow your footsteps if you teach good work ethics, integrity and you educate them of the potholes that can destroy and steal their dreams.

I am a big hugger, I huge everyone.  It's perfect when their are no words needed spoken.  Spread Love.

The divide is over the money.  I think we all should give ourselves a pat on the back that we survived a horrible recession.  It humbled us and had a lesson to teach us.  I personally thought President Obama could have done more about the divide and I am sure Trump is not either.

So, it's up to us.  It starts at home and how we treat our co-workers, those that service us.  It's being a blessing to someone when God moves your heart to do so.  It's the breath of life.  I have faith in our humanity. We will get this.  Fuck the media that has stirred all this tension.  Let that shit go!  Let's give our new president a chance to help us prosper our dreams.  If it doesn't work, we will change again in 4 years.  The only thing I can say Obama helped me with was my daughter got to stay on her father's health insurance until age 26.  And for outlining how insurance shouldn't be able to barr someone for pre-existing condition.

My Mother told me, "when you hug someone, they should know that they've been hugged". So I too am a hugger.

The strength and compassion of your words is impressive. Although I do not believe in any god, I respect that your doing so has formed your rationale.

I too have faith in our humanity.

I'm not sure what kind of President Trump will make, but I'm proud that the citizens of the United States of America saw that Hillary Clinton is a lying, traitorous criminal and didn't elect her POTUS. I am convinced just about anyone else in the Democratic party would have steam rolled Donald Trump in this election, just about anyone.

We, hold the power over ourselves and our humanity, not one person or their cohorts. We always have, every empire in history has fallen, every one. And yet, we still survive.

Lead...Follow...or get out of the way!

Starting on the Right and working left, here's what it looks like:

Fascists (very small number)
ProFascists ( large number)
Collaborators (small number because of economic standing)
The Compliant (huge number ready to go along and get along)
The NonCompliant (regionally dispersed small communities)
The Resistance (large number)
AntiFascists (probably less than 5%)
The Underground (tiny but likely to grow)

Even though Trump lost the popular vote, only a small fraction of Americans will resist Fascist Autocracy. And many who voted against him hope he will get rid of big problems (North Korea, ISIS, immigration from South America and Mexico, etc) before they vote him out of office. It's just a matter of elect a pig, commit whatever crimes need to be committed against humanity, blame their actions on following orders from the pig, and as the day of reckoning draws nigh, shoot the pig. I call it Virtue's Back Door.

My opinion only. But no, we are not going to "unite" under Fascism.
