The Top Ten Conservative Idiots (No. 158)
June 7, 2004

CHALABI DAMNED EDITION
-----------------------

DU's Top 10 team is back after a holiday break, and it's certainly been an eventful couple of weeks. George W. Bush (1) went to Europe, but before he left he found time to "distance himself" from former buddy Ahmed Chalabi after Chalabi apparently passed sensitive information to the Iranians which he received from The White House Mystery Drunk (2). Meanwhile Kelli Arena and John Ashcroft (3) spread some unpleasant propaganda, Enron (4) was thoroughly embarrassed, and Trent Lott (6) weighed in on the Abu Ghraib scandal. Elsewhere, Dana Rohrabacher (7) has lost his mind, Team Bush (9) has really gone negative, and Donald Rumsfeld (10) is getting shit from his wife.

----------------------------------------------------------------

Our beloved President {and people wonder why he's called stupid?}

In fact, I would argue that his stupidity is the least significant of his flaws.  The one that terrifies me is his moral certainty that he is on the righteous path, and his unwillingness to ever question it and re-appraise the plan of action.  This alone ought to be sufficient grounds for booting him from office, before he starts WWIII in all of our names.

against the "evil doers" who might believe in a different, and just as tangible, GOD?  The nerve of those evildoers believing in another GOD.  Would this be the first war in the name of religion; I can't remember many others(LOL)

Keep preaching on!!

The one thing I do not get, why is it that good news for America (economy=Jobs Up,Iraq=UN Resolution passed today) seems to be bad news for the Democrats? This must be an awfully uncomfortable position...

The salient question, in fact, the ONLY question, is simply this:

Are you better off today than you were 4 years ago.  If the answer is yes, vote Bush.  If the answer is no, Vote Kerry.

I am quite certain that most Americans were doing better in 2000 than they are now.
