Shows complete desperation in the Romney campaign. They now realize they are not going to win Ohio!

I'll be so glad when this election is over. The bullshit ads will be off the TV, and that greasy weasel Romney will go back to obscurity. We're about to see the most decisive re-election of a US President in 30 years, so sit back and relax folks, and enjoy the show we're about to see on Tuesday.

A few things, first though. It looks like the Onion is reporting that Romney's gotten so desperate in Pennsylvania, that he's offering anyone who votes for him to have their way with Ann for an hour. I'd pass.

Voting in Florida is sure to be a nightmare this year (what else is new?), and in response to this, the Onion is reporting that Florida is experimenting with a new kind of voting machine that has to be seen to be believed.

And Mitt made his final pitch to voters on SNL last night, saying that none of the things he's said in the past should be held against him, since he'll just change his position anyway.

You know, after all the BS that's showed up on this board, in the MSM, and elsewhere, there is a new reality in the US and government and politicians had better recognize it and deal with it lest they bring us to the path of inevitable self destruction.

Just because someone may win the election, does not mean that they should have the right to ignore, step on, and otherwise demolish those who voted against them.  We have arrived at the point where the nation is about evenly divided in political views.  Either candidate will ultimately only win by an extremely small margin.  No different than the past three or four elections.  The success of our country depends on compromise which takes into account that presidents should represent all the people, not just their political party beliefs.  As citizens, we have the right to expect that and I personally hope it turns out that way.  For if it doesn't, the growing animosity and downright hatred as manifest on this board, will put us on the unmistakeable path to civil war.

Ann Romney's face told it all at a rally yesterday in Ohio. She knows Mittens will lose on Nov 6th.  

unfortunately I don't see any bipartisan comity coming to pass on important issues.  And there are issues that frustrate the hell out of me that are largely being ignored by both parties.

Climate Change is one that I think is now more real to more people but cynically maybe not.

NYT is full of reprints of articles Claus Jacob a climate sceintist at Columbia U who was asked by Bloomberg to study impact of climate change that showed up as Sandy and Sandy was a Cat I.

The House is still going to be full of Teaparty and they are going to be as destructive and obstructive as ever.  The Dems will have the Senate but by a narrow majority, partyly thanks to some real whackjobs the likes I've never seen in my life like Aiken and Mourdock whose stupidity is beyond belief.  How could someone running for the Senate believe if a woman is raped without a rubbere or contraceptive protection that changes fertilization circumstances?

And there has to be tax fairness. The rich are buying Congress and raping the shit out of the middle class and poor.

WTF is this joyous penchant of the right wing to sentence 75 million or so poo people, middle class people and their children to have no access to  health care.  The only way RR and Ryan would understand this is for their children and wives to be denied access to health care.

Ironically Ann Romney doesn't have access to efficacy for chronic MS because whle there are breakthrough treatments that have emerged this year for acute MS, there are none for chronic MS.  That frustrates Mitt Romney, but for a different reason no access to treatment for 75 million sick people phases Ann or Mitt.  That's an interesting pot/kettle paradigm and example of blinders on for the Romneys.
