The "personal" attack is no less than what Kerry has suffered now.

Hanoi's got MoveOn.org producing hit pieces on the Swifties and at the same time files suit to stop them with the FTC.  He has an army of lawyers writing threatening letters to retailers who are selling their book, "Unfit for Command", (but still will be a Top Ten best seller by September 1st - you can order your copy at Amazon.com) in an attempt to stifle the Swifties First Amendment Right of Free Speech (where's the ACLU when you need them).

One would think that with all of the free legal advice Hanoi is priviledged to, that a Libel suit would be in order.  However, that would bring the whole truth to light.  Bad for Hanoi.  Please note that no such suit has been filed, only saber rattling.

Hypocrisy is pretty overused in this forum, but surely this one is for the record books.

The personal attacks on the Swiftboat Vets for Truth is not surprisingly quite like the personal attacks they/all vets received upon their return from Vietnam 35 years ago!  It hurt when you were 20 - 24 years old, however, it won't stop Vietnam Vets against Kerry, it only emboldens us!

It would seem that the elect Hanoi John campaign committee is quite a bit more concerned than the intellectual giants of the left who post here.  There is a reason for that, people are listening!  Every time Hanoi opens his mouth (can you say, Seared, Seared) the Swifties gain credibility and Hanoi loses more of  his very soft support!

Bush by 5 -6 points and I reserve the right to increase that prediction upward!

Have a nice weekend!

Panic. sKerry has based his campaign on Vietnam. Now his embellishments and opportunism are being exposed and the sKerry campaign is getting spooked. The wussies have even filed an FEC complaint. Pathetic.

I'm lovin' it. You hypocrites who support 527's that attack Bush have hissy fits when an anti-sKerry 527 fight's back. Welcome to the sand pit, whiners.

The Swiftboat attacks are indeed helping Bush with the veteran vote - the polls show it.

But the backlash against Bush over this among the non-veterans, who make up the great majority of voters, will come.  The reason Kerry took so long to respond was to give them enough rope to hang themselves.

You are being beaten by superior tacticians.

Kerry's numbers are already starting to slip and the Republicans have not even had their convention yet. Unlike Kerry, Bush will get a bounce here due to the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger (sp?) and Rudy Guliana!

I've already marked this one in the win column. I'm just trying to figure out how many Senate seat we will pick up.

To quote your guy "BRING IT ON!"

You never answered my question, Bribite: how do you think this is going to effect the military now?  Commendations aren't going to mean shit after this. How is a war on terror, or any war going to be won? If terrorists nuke the Pentagon, they couldn't do more damage.

Your Republican Guard changed their views about Kerry after VVAW activities, and their memories changed retro-actively. All records viewed from the time reflect this. He wouldn't have survived being that unpopular at the time.

Your revelling in this shit is the most obscene thing I've ever read. Couldn't you just do shit-sucking anal porn instead?

If Kerry files a libel suit, why you know it won't be decided till he's been president for 7 years anyway.

The Republican Guard and their backers deserve a Joseph Goebels advertising award.

Keep it all up, Bribite. Four more years of Bush: Because America is not a failed state yet.  Make it ungovernable under Kerry, too, why don't you?

Revel in the fact that your the sort of happy derelict who makes everything around him derelict.

And I'm picturing the Bush supporters on this board whining about how unfair it all was.

We would console ourselves in the fact that we still have the House and Senate to fend off any Kerry inititives!!

Gee, kind of like Bill after the 94 election ;-)

Would you like Swiss, Mozzerella, Provolone, Cheddar, or Monterey Jack cheese to go with your "whine"?

Oh, I forgot.  You're Republicans, so I'll put you all down for Rush Limburger.

...and how is it again, that Limbaugh has escaped prosecution?

There really are different rules for Republicans.
