Israel won East Jerusalem by taking it from Jordan  as spoils of war  .

  Depending on your perspective, White man won California by
killing American Natives and stealing their land ,
 or forcing the Mexicans to sell it cheap .
 
   Israel isn't giving any land back .
 California is already lost .

Mexico still has a Reconquista movement which wants the U.S. to return much of the Southwest to Mexico.
