Remember when they told us he was going to win 70% of the vote?

Remember when they told us there would be a new group of Republican voters that would vote for Obama?

Remember when they told us that he would wipe the floor with McCain in a debate?

Here's the facts, he is going to get somewhere between 48% and 52% of the vote and the election will be decided by a couple of swing states with a 1 or 2% margin of victory.  In other words you could have nominated any prominent Democrat and been exactly where we are today with this election.  

So how is this guy different?
