Several weeks ago, I went off on a tangent, not to mention a wild tear about how people were posting nonsense in this forum instead of real dialog.
I'd gotten so hung up on substance over superficial, I lost sight of one of my very own pillars of my personal philosophy... always keep little silliness in your life.

With the stench of a very ugly campaign still festering and fouling our air, it was refreshing to review some of the soundbytes and clips from the Alfred Smith dinner.

If only they could be this civil towards each other during the campaign itself, without the constant badgering of their campaign staff, and the constant spin of their media reps.

Time to get silly.

Or at least get laid.

If only McCain could read a teleprompter that well when he's not telling a joke.

I take life seriously but I try to never take myself too seriously.
