on both sides,  in all walks of life and throughout every economic scale and in any political affiliation,  who cannot have the courtesy/decency to hear another person out,  who is indubitably in deep emotional distress  and needs a platform for the starting of catharsis.  I think we all agree it is totally uncalled for.

That being said,  our politicians and the political system as a whole, also,  unfortunately work on emotion.  Instead of being proactive and coming to a solution of what should be done on any given issue without playing on the emotions of the masses,  they wait until an impressive and notable "bone of contention" arises, then they are reactive and  WHAM,  we have to do something,  anything.

I am sure that all intelligent people know that if you are mad at the child,  you don't react,  by WHAM,  you walk away gather your wits aka brains and come back to the child and let them know that what they did was totally unacceptable.

This to,  is also how our government should set it sights,  by being proactive and looking at the whole "matter in question"  not just one area,  especially something that has been tried and failed ad nauseam.

Here's the un-edited video that starts at the relevant time.

Mr. Heslin asks if there's anybody in the room that can explain why anyone in the room needs to have an assault style weapon.

For a long pause he creates, the room is silent then he repeats the claim that since no one spoke up there must not be any good reason.

To your credit you've moved on to a more substantive question regarding the dialogue that Mr. Heslin clearly was attempting to have. But you dodged my response to your post that the man was heckled as proven by your link. Your link was heavily edited to give a false impression. Do you not care that you've been duped by your source and by MSNBC?

I'm using Chrome. Try cutting and pasting the link. Or better yet, the fake MSNBC video has been exposed well enough now that I'm sure you can find the original, unedited version via your own search.

Why the anger?
