The CIA met with OBL at the American hospital in Dubai in July 2001. The story originally broke in Le Figaro, which is a well respected right-wing French news daily owned, curiously, by the Carlyle Group, the same Carlyle Group which IS the military-industrial complex in corporate clothing. The same Carlyle group in which bin Laden's family used to invest in.

For those still doubtful, you can read the translated version at : http://www.globalresearch.ca/articles/RIC111B.html and followups at:  http://www.globalresearch.ca/articles/CHO311A.html , the original has beenr ecently removed from Le Figaro's website, but a literal translation is available at : http://www.scoop.co.nz/mason/stories/HL0111/S00018.htm

Not so curiously, this story has conspiciously evaded the American media. Even Michael Moore, who apparently has an aversion to plane crashes, "forgot" to mention this little tidbit in Fahrenheit 911. What might you think would have happened if this story was reported on the networks?

Being reported in a Carlyle owned rag seems even more suspect. Why would THEY, of all papers be the ones providing a link between OBL and "a CIA agent". I emphsize "a CIA Agent" because evn if true, that does not implicate "The CIA".

This could jsut as easliy be a CYA story made up by the fRENCHIES...

iNTERESTING NONETHELESS, so to follow it out, OBL is handled by the CIA who wants him tearing up shit so Carlye interests made bundles building it back again....right?

a tad too cynical for me...

This story has been reported all over the world-except here.

Honest.

I don't want to get into what it means, because that's too complicated. I just want the folks here to understand it happened. Do not for a minute confuse The Guardian and Le Figaro with the Weekly World News.

Moore discusses the article in his book, "Dude, Where's My Country?"
