appeal this conviction and it will be decided by a higher court (maybe all the way to the Supremes) sometime during his presidency, so get used to the fact that the best you can say is that he is a TEMPORARY convicted felon pending appeal when he entered office, but he will most likely not be when he leaves office.  The case was rife with reversible error that most legal scholars agree on, regardless of party affiliations.

a court that follows the laws of that jurisdiction should remain convicted, but I also think that judges who do NOT follow the laws of their jurisdiction should have their cases overturned on appeal.  It doesn't if it's Trump or Senator Menendez.  There should be ONE law for everyone.
