Almost as clumsy as the Dem attempts to launch an effective counter messaging campaign. You’re right that three Senators publishing videos giving the exact same speech technically isn’t plagiarism. But it’s really lazy. One would assume that the three staffs would take the talking points/suggested script and personalize it. Instead the three Senators ended up reading the same script and now they’re being mocked for it.

This is pretty telling too. As far as I know, nobody was talking about Trump delivering this speech until yesterday. And then it became clear it's a SOTU address. So, unless I'm missing something, the Dems all went with copy this statement, probably because they no longer have a central person or group to deliver everyone's talking points. They just have a talking point guy now who has no strategy, and they just copied and pasted the same thing over and over again.
