Where the hell are they going to go; to the Dems? Or, are they going to start their own party? That would be the Dems. dream come true! However, after thinking about it, Priebus will kiss their ass, and they will re-institute the party's platform from 2012, to mollify them. Then, during the primaries, their presidential contenders will be all conservative on the social issues, and once one is deemed the winner, and runs in the general election, he will say just enough pro and con on gay marriage for each Republican on either side of the issue will hear just what s/he wants to hear, so that they can justify voting for him. Problem is, that might keep the party intact a little longer, however, I don't see it gaining them many new converts. The old Republican brand will be hard to get rid of. And, running hard right during the primaries, and running toward middle ground during the general election didn't work for Romney, and I'm not seeing it working in the future. And, the Social Conservatives will once again get the screws put to them by the RNC. Seems like they never learn! But, hey, were else do they have to go?
