The "U.S. arsenal" to which you refer was not equipment left by American forces upon their withdrawal. It was old stuff given to the Afghan Army and abandoned by then when they fled. I saw a video of some of it and a lot of the "infantry weapons" left were ancient AK-47s, not even stuff any American soldier would ever use. I seriously doubt anyone will be fired over this.
We need the cooperation of the Taliban to extract American citizens and Afghan allies. If we'd started blowing up arsenals we'd have gotten the opposite. Also, this stuff is useless to threaten our interests in the future. But if we decide to blow it up, let's at least wait until after we've gotten everyone out.
