Just like all candidates, (well maybe with the exception of Obama), eventually he will need to make his opinions, goals, and plans to acchieve those goals.
Unlike the current POTUS, Herman Cain has made a payroll in his life, which puts him head and shoulders above the rest of the field and our current POTUS,
As for whether I will vote for him? I need to know a lot more about him before I make that decision. and no Misty, that little four minute snippet gave me nothing more to go on.
I don't like Bible Thumpers, but contrary to what you, Pri and the rest of the libs have to say, Ronald Reagan was the best POTUS in my lifetime, despite the fact that he was a Bible thumper.
BTW I have listened to Herman Cain extensively on the radio and liked a lot of what I heard.
If he garners serious support I guess the Dems will have to drop that "Righties only hate Obama for being black" bullshit.
I've been a fan of Herman Cain since listening to him fill in for Neil Boortz several years ago. I am interested in finding out what else he stands for, He might be the candidate that I can get enthusiastic about.
Speakining of race, Cain is all black, Obama only half, I wonder how that will play with people who only see color? rofl
here is a video
I had never seen Cain before and I'll grant that he is a very effective speaker. But the entire video was completely free of any real information about what he stands for. Nice pix of sheep, Herman in church, angry white people with "Don't Tread on Me" flags, shots of the Statue of Liberty and Herm standing in front of the flag. Not much else. Plus GaG, he sounds like a bible-thumper to me. Not good.
And I don't expect him to lay out his platform in a campaign video. But couldn't there have been just a little about what he stands for and how he plans to accomplish his goals?
Still, can't wait to see how some of my Republican friends who don't much like Blacks will react.

Hooray For Herman ! The son of servants who actually WORKED his way to the top. He didn't spend his youth running around terrorists, anti-semites, and racists either. I guess boy wonder won't be able to hide behind the race card against the particular canidate. Oh baby , let the the far loser left hypocrisy begin.
That's not the reason you never got past the sheep, Gambler, you little sheep-shagger!
I bet you can't find more than 50 GOP activist who have heard of Herman Cain.
He hasn't got a snowballs chance in Hell of getting even a single delegate to the RNC!
That's what they said about O-bomination.
I think it's almost universally agreed that none of the current GOP front runners has a snowball's chance of beating Obama. The only chance the GOP is for a darkhorse to enegize the party. Whether Cain is that man remains to be seen, but I've listened to him many times over the last several years, and by and large, I like what I hear.
I do hope that he doesn't campaign on the Fair Tax, I think that would be his undoing to make that his primary message.
I didn't go yesterday because I went to yell and scream at ASG over the Thrashers moving instead, but like you I have heard him speak in the past and he and his message are pretty good.
Didn't Obama do that, too? Remember when Hillary was being annointed as the nominee? With this Republican field, it's anyone's race.
Yep ! And as metioned above they said he didn't have a rat's ass chance in hell at beating Hillary.
I don't think he entered the race believing he was going to win, especially since it was his first time out. My guess is it was all about getting experience and name recognition for a run next time around. And look what happened.
Bill Clinton was Governor of Arkansas, who gave the keynote address at the DNC.
Likewise Obama was a US Senator who also gave the keynote speech to the DNC.
Neither are as unknown as Herman, who has never been elected to anything except maybe class President.
Along with that I don't hear any talk from GOP insiders about a Cain challenge to President Obama.
The GOP had a black candidate in Allen Keys, yet failed to get African-Americans to go against their best interest and vote GOP. I don't see a complete unknown has any chance just because he is black/
I don't like Cain because he is black anymore than I dislike Obama because he is black. You libs can't have it both ways.
Cain is not a "black" candidate, he is a candidate that happens to be black. You "open minded" libs really need to take an itrospective look at yourselves and ask who are the true racists, those that look past race, or those who can't talk about anything else?
And some on the right think he may skim off some minority votes from the President.
Think ? He will ! Not all "brothers" are sell outs dude !
I've been listening to him on and off for several years now, I like what he has to say. Color has nothing to do with it.
Why is it that if a Black democrat runs for office, opposing him is racist? but if a conservative black man runs for office, supporting him is racist? You can't have it both fucking ways
I don't like Obama because he is a left wing, borderline socialist, I like Herman Cain because he is a business man who appears to have some stones to deal with serious problems. Leave it to a lib to bring race into the equation.
