Republican Alabama Sen. Tommy Tuberville’s hold on military promotions threatens a foundational piece of President Joe Biden’s agenda, making it difficult for either side to relent
There’s room for both sides to compromise. The Biden administration could roll back the DOD provision of funded travel for female servicemembers’ abortions.  And Sen Tuberville could lift the hold on the sister provision, allowing females to take extended leave for abortions.

Like the article says though, it probably comes down to who blinks first.

“Of course it can also become a matter of who wields power; if the administration gives in, then Senators will see that Tuberville’s tactic was successful. If Tuberville relents, then he will have to somehow reconcile his absolute statements about holding-the-line. This is becoming a matter of political will for each side,” Dakota Wood, the senior research fellow in defense at the Heritage Foundation, told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

It was cute at the beginning, the base loved it....but in the end the republican senators will get saddled with this and when 1/5th of the military is woman...it'll be just something Rep will have to explain.  
I'd love to see the Biden administration make that main Space HQ , temporarily in Colorado and make it it's permanent HQ, depriving Alabama. I mean, isn't this something trump would do??

I’ve never used 2023 = 28 on the P&R board and it is just a little less than 6 weeks since I used it on other boards.

In 2021, Hertling received a Presidential appointment to the American Battle Monuments Commission. Since June 2014, Hertling has appeared as a national security and military analyst for CNN.

For those who don’t understand the meaning of the included citations, I’ll dumb it down for you.

1. Fox’s General Keane is a well respected expert analyst who has the respect of those in the know in Washington DC.

2. CNN’s General Hertling is a paid, partisan hack.

Keane is only well respected by Fox and partisan hacks like you. He is, himself, a hyper-partisan hack. You saying he's well respected doesn't make it so.
Hertling was commander of all US forces in Europe and is very well respected, despite your lying smear.
Both men are paid to appear on Fox and CNN respectively. If Hertling is a "paid, partisan hack," so is Keane.
But only an abject partisan hack like you could fail to see that.

Nicky’s response to criticism of CNN’s Hertling partisan use of insults was “what about Fox?”. I pointed out that Fox’s senior military analyst was General Keane, a man above reproach that Nicky has nothing on. That General Keane has served and advised George W, Trump, Hillary and other prominent Democrats. Calling him partisan is just laughable.

Maybe Nicky should enlist BigPapasan’s help and ask for a deep dive on Keane, because Nicky’s failed to win any points here on his own. But even a BigP Google search won’t turn up any evidence of Keane referencing White House or Capitol Hill politicians in a derogatory manner.
