As things get heated in the next 10 days, I would just like to point out that we are all Americans and in this together. Who ever wins, we will waive to our neighbors, smile at the person next to us in the cafe, and say, "Thank you" to the clerk at the post office.
I've disagreed very strongly with a lot of you, but if we cross paths in person, I would by you a drink or a cup of coffee in a New York minute. Even if NY is going the way that I don't like.
Here's to the next 200 years of heated debate.
