but labeling it a drubbing of "Democrat DA" Paul Howard is a bit misleading considering the woman that beat him is also a Dem. Let's hope she is a less corrupt Dem than Howard who will almost certainly be facing criminal charges before the year is out.

 
I am willing to wait a while before passing judgment on Willis the new DA as she has a HUGE mess to clean up before she can even think about getting started with her own policies. I am eager to see if she pursues the charges against the two cops Paul Howard raced to charge criminally before the investigation was even finished, if she defers the prosecution to the DA of another county because the case is so tainted, or if she has the courage to drop the charges altogether which would take a lot of courage in the political climate that exists today.

I thought cops were supposed to be tough? If you murder someone, better be ready to face the consequences and not make the taxpayer responsible for it.
