Let's remember that the deficit is so high because tax receipts are so low right now. They are so low right now because we're in a shitty economy. The economy is shitty because the last guy sat around with his thumb up his ass while Wall Street broke the economy.
Secondly, Dubya DOUBLED the debt and Reagan nearly QUADRUPLED it. The current guy was handed a broken piece of shit with spending as the only option to fix the economy.
