Then why bother sending Biden to the funeral?

Been quite a while since a president has not attended the funeral of a supreme court justice who dies while sitting on the bench.

So how would it go over if say Obama died in office and the Republican leaders of Congress decide not to go to the funeral

And, I wonder why Obama wouldn't cooperate in aiding the Republican's in their attempts to block his policies and agenda, and aid in their attempt to win back the presidency and congress!  I just can't understand it!   ;)

whatever chance there would be for Obama and R's to work together (after the D's lost control of Congress) was blown after the very public rebuke of the Supreme Court decision...not that Obama had ever shown a tendency toward that...even in his Senate days...silly of me to allow you to bring one of your canned arguments into this discussion tho...mea culpa
