Unlike so many I hear slamming Rush or Hannity, I actually listed quite extensively when it first came on the air! (BTW, Randy Rhodes is actually the best talent they have, Franken is kind of weak). Had to listem to the stream since they are not on the air here.

Obviously I did not agree with much that I heard, but was very interested to hear what they said...

BTW, what does my listening to them have to do with them scarfing money from kids programs???

So what's the deal with Air America? First they are supposedly kicking ass then they are taking money away from kids???

Funny this did not get a lot of coverage in the mainstream press.

So?.....Howard Stern, who has way more talent than Rush & is on less radio stations, because conservative groups are afraid of the words penis & vagina, still makes upwards of $20 million annually......

For all the bitching some people do about Howard, at least he's not a hypocrite & a phony----like Rush is.....

Not unless the right can stop requoting and paraphrasing itself and produce a release from some investigative office, or at least produce in issue of the elusive "Bronx News."

Air America doesn't deny the scandals and financial difficulties caused at the first launch of the network - they're not Republicans.
What they did was a very un-Republican thing, they restructured, kicked the criminal out and began afresh with a new enterprise. That new enterprise has nothing to do with what went on before, so rail against them all you like - they don't represent Air America.

"The current owners of Air America Radio have no obligation to Progress Media's business activities," the statement read. "We are very disturbed that Air America Radio's good name could be associated with a reduction in services for young people, which is why we agreed months ago to fully compensate the Gloria Wise Boys and Girls Club as a result of this transaction."
They're going to pay the money back, even though they have no legal obligation to do so.
Did I say that was distinctly un-Republican?

actually stamina, i have tried to listen to it.  Franken's main problem is that his voice sounds overly nasal.  If I listen in a car, any background noise drowns him out.  The station that I listen to Savage on carries AA earlier in the day.  They would do much better tossing him and putting Alan Combs on or at least someone who can put out the message (however warped it may be).  my .02

And yes, I have listened to it (agianst my desires, but we have a bunch of diehard nutcases in my office who blare the bloody programming incessantly).

I can't decide who gives me greater indigestion, Franken or Savage. Luckily I can still throw my Zeppelin CD's on and drown out the ravings from both.
