Stuff that just ain't right.... or what we need to fix.

This country has major problems which, for this country to survive, need to be fixed.  They are (in no particular order):

•The education system, particularly higher education as well as elementary education.  Fixing this is important for matters of national security and economic solvency.  Because institutes of higher learning are run, managed and obtain "profits" as a company, they should either be taxed like a company or they can keep their non-profit status, with no tax consequences, but in that case, they should NOT be allowed to charge tuition (which in any case is not the major source of revenue for any state or private university with the exception of "for profit universities" such as Phoenix etc.).
•Our national sovereignty.  I believe that the porous nature of our borders (particularly the border we share with Mexico, but my concern is not limited to that border) presents an issue to both our cultural as well as a national definition of our country.  We no longer assimilate other national cultures, rather we now set up internal duplication of cultures from other countries within our borders.  This will lead to “culture clashes” and social unrest.  What helped our country was a unified vision of 1) the rule of law, 2) majority rule but minority rights and 3) a common understanding of utilizing the political system to effect change.  This is no longer followed.  A few are allowed to dictate to the majority.
• Fixing our  healthcare system.  For the most part, the affordable health care act was put forth as “the solution" to our healthcare system woes.  While it attempted to fix some issues, it failed to address many of the issues which have driven the abnormal rate of healthcare cost increases.  These include the cost of liability, the increased record keeping required for reimbursement and regulatory compliance.  That many hospitals are run as “a business” also dictates they make a profit.  While there is nothing wrong with that, a simple administration of a therapeutic is often charged multiple times, when there should be a single cost.  These are only two of the issues with health care, there are others.
•A national Energy Policy.  While it is generally recognized that eventually we will need to end the use of fossil fuels, it is less well recognized that we currently have no reasonable alternative.  We need a national effort (similar to the Kennedy plan to put a man on the moon) to develop, in a realistic time frame, an alternative to fossil fuels.  We don’t and it is killing us (both figuratively and literally)  due to international competition for energy.
•  A shift in how our political parties operate.  This is the toughest one.  Our politicians are more interested in the job, rather than the duty.  They take polls instead of devising leadership proposals.  Gotta Stop.

So until these are done, superbugs are gonna get us all.

1. Eliminate the privately-owned and unconstitutional Federal Reserve.  It was formed in secret to take over the country.

2. Declare the national debt null and void.

3. Start prosecuting those who violate the Logan Act.  David Rockerfeller, Henry Kissinger, etc.

Just a few solutions which make sense.
