Do you think Congress will pass a 2nd stimulus package before Dec.11th ?  Pelosi went too high and McConnell went too low.  I bet that pass legislation for themselves to be paid.  Dear God, please let Ga go blue

The need for another stimulus is huge, as well as the political pressure for congress to do something.  I suspect there's a number in the middle they can agree on, I imagine the Cheeto in the white house will sign it.

They question is, will Trump sign it? I'm not so sure. I think he wants to pull the whole house down on top of him and everyone else.
Apparently last night he focused more on blaming people for his loss in GA than on the Senate races, which is exactly what Leoffler and Purdue feared.
Now we'll see what effect it had.

the main problem is Trump. He will not sign it. Because it doesn’t help him.
Only path I see is a veto proof passage of the bill. The question is will that many Republican senators come on board? I hope they do.
On a pure partisan basis, I would say if Republican senators don’t do it - it will be a political suicide for them!

that's what I thought too.  We will need a democrat majority in the senate to get any dead bills signed by Biden.

there will be no stimulus for the people.  This country has the worst functioning gov.  Canada has given a 2k month stimulus for 6 months.  

I am so disgusted and wonder how they go home and sleep at night.  They have been dangling stimulus relief like raw meat for hungry dogs.

However, I heard a discussion on MSNBC where a Democratic strategist was explaining how the president can work with the treasury and bypass the congress- may be it is under emergency ... may be repurposing already approved funds ... but I do remember he explained how it is possible.

There was half a trillion unused money.  Somewhere between the transfer from Fed back to Treasury about 330 billion is missing.  That was plenty enough for another round of stimulus to the people, vanished!  I heard a congress woman drilling him a couple of days ago.

Mnuchin is asking Powell to return? Biden can grab that money...
Oh, I am checking a bit ... Biden can use EO to ‘waive things’ like student loan, extend forbearance on mortgage etc.

I have been looking for that link I watched where she called him out on their only being like 170 billion now.  She asked him if he was a lawyer and he said he had lawyers advising him.  Then he asked her if she was a lawyer, and in fact she was.  If I find it I will link it.  All that is left now 170 billion with no oversight where the rest went
