Who was it asking about Palestinian civilians? Happy gulag guard Am I right?

Here is the problem, the youth of Gaza have been soo incocated with hate through their education system plus…on top of being Muslim (easily primed for extremism) they might be fucked for life.

Douglas Murray is right, Gaza could have turned into another Singapore with the Billions that have been poured into it but Hamas took a page out of thr PLO playbook and has kept the Palestinians in poverty and massively enriched themselves in the process.

In the meantime, I have read that Hamas has stored 200,000 gallons of fuel and food to sustain HAMAS for more than 2 months of fighting. Has Hamas released fuel to the hospitals or food to the Gazan civilians? No. Nothing.

[The stored resources info must be from intelligence agencies and hard to verify otherwise. It's not like Hamas has a big neon sign advertising their storage depots.]

The PLO is corrupt, too.

Going back to Arafat. He was offered a deal to create a Palestinian state and blew it off. He preferred his cushy job funneling funds into his personal account.
And let's not forget it was the Israelis who occupied Gaza for years. They left voluntarily in 2005, even uprooting several Jewish communities there. Two years later Hamas took over by throwing out the PLO and there have been no elections since. Because Hamas knows it would lose.
Botton line, there IS NO credible governing authority in either Gaza or the West Bank.
The best thing to do is for Israel to quickly turn the government and security over to the UN and withdraw.

I can't really quibble with your post.

Hamas is an evil organization that doesn't care one wit about Palestinians. It only cares about Gaza due to its geographical significance being attached to Israeli land so they can attack it from. It needs to be totally destroyed. The military wing of it needs to be defeated and the governmental wing kicked out. Then we need U.N. peacekeepers with strong anti-terrorism experience brought in at the right time. This can't be rushed but at the same time, the clock is ticking as the PR in favor of Israel in the West is waning. It's tricky but Israel needs to thread this needle for its own sake.
