Hi folks,

This is my first post after lurking here for about a month.
I must say I really like the discussions here.  It seems like
I can relate to a lot of you, since we all have two hobbies in
common, politics and well you know what the other one is.
I'm impressed that although there are disagreements things are
relatively civilized and I don't see any flame wars.  I think
some other newsgroups (alt.rush-limbaugh) could take some lessons from you.

About the election:  right now I have no idea who I'm going to
vote for.  I voted for Bush last time, but he has made so much
of a mess in Iraq that even his most intelligent supporters
and spinners are having a hard time convincing me that this was
the right choice.  (If Clinton had done this, don't you think
they have been all over him?)  Yet I can't bring myself to vote for Kerry since I've never voted for a Democrat
and I'll know he'll raise my taxes, and I need my money so I can
finacnce my other hobby.  (I'm learning very quickly that when you earn a million dollars, you really have only $ 500,000, if
that much.)  I'm seriously considering voting Libertarian, although I know that party has no chance of winning.

So I don't know who I'm going to vote for.  So I'm letting my
provider friends decide!  They are very intelligent and classy
and always treat me right.  I'm going to ask each one I see this
summer and then see which candidate they prefer.  (I could be
crass and just listen to the one who provides the best service,
but a lot of them do an excellent job and I don't want to pick one over the other.)

How do you like them apples?

TB

It will not matter who the next President is when it comes to taxes. Whoever it is will HAVE to raise them in order to get US out of the path to financial ruin the current admin. has put on.
