But righties are strangely silent when Trump does the same thing.  In response to the hate-filled speech of alt-right leader Richard B. Spencer, a Trump spokesman said:  “President-elect Trump has continued to denounce racism of any kind and he [got] elected because he will be a leader for every American.”  

Instead of specifically naming Spencer and the alt-right, Trump broadly denounced racism in a mealy mouthed way so as not to offend Steve Bannon, the champion of Spencer and the alt-right.

And you are wrong about it being "righties." Bill Maher has ripped Barry about not referring to it as "radical Islamic terrorism" time after time after time and he is far from being the lone person doing so not on the Right.
