When journalists make mistakes we want them to own up to them so I really don't see your point here.

The only reason she had to apologize is because the story had already been debunked days earlier.  They can spew anything and there is no consequences if the truth comes out later.

Fox paid that amount but didn't have to apologize to Dominion Voting Systems.

Most rational people think he's been one of the best.
Most rational people think Trump was the absolute worst.

if they can get away with it.  They only apologize when the affront is so egregious, their job could be at stake.  It's self-preservation, not integrity.
