But from what I've seen it's a draw.
Vance is well-briefed and does a decent job. Walz is folksy and at times kind of a doofus but his experience and humanity shows through.
I think deciding who the winner is will break along the same lines as the top of the ticket. It will have no effect on the outcome.
The best thing about the debate is both men are refraining from name-calling and are being civil. It's a refreshing change.

Frank Luntz had a focus group of 13 people.  Before the debate, 8 were favored Walz and 5 were for Vance.  After the debate, the response to the same question was 12-1 for Vance.  

 
Do you really want a VP who, when he gets caught lying, says, "Sometimes I'm just a knucklehead" and "I often get carried away during a conversation?"   The man is a habitual liar when it comes to self-aggrandizement.  He must be insecure.  We already have a commander-in-chief like that.

3 of the 4 people on these two tickets are honorable. The debate seems like a draw and will not change any votes imo. Let's see if KellyAnne can get Chicken Trump to debate again. She clearly thinks he is losing.

I agree that Kamala is not honorable because she is lying to people about what her positions are on the issues, and she worked her way up through the ranks of politicians by sucking dicks.  Do you really think a Commander-in Chief who is a common slut is going to be taken seriously by other world leaders?  What will she say to keep Putin in line, "If you don't back off, no blow job for YOU?"

 
Likewise, how do you trust a guy like Walz who lied about his military record to cover up the coward that he is?  Now he has been exposed lying about his time in China.  The lies just keep coming with this guy.  

 
I assume you are claiming Trump is not honorable because he disputed election results.  So did HIllary and so did Al Gore.  Trump is just an unusual example because he's not a Democrat disputing an election, but he still has a first amendment right to make his claim, just like the democrats have done over the last century.

VP debates don't usually move the needle and this one won't either.  Both men acquitted themselves well enough. Both sides will declare victory.

It's expected that Republicans will say that Vance won.  But Democrats were so sure that Vance was the gaffe prone clown that the MSM has been pitching that they view Walz's inability to humble Vance as a major failure -- like any normal person ought to be able to humiliate Vance.

It's pretty clear Vance outclassed Walz tonight. I mean, I was watching this and all I could think of was -- man, Walz is so in over his head. I mean, can you imagine this guy sitting in the White House Situation Room with that facial expression that's like 50% sheer terror and 50% extreme bafflement? I mean, it was amazing the split-screen difference between a competent Vance and a totally in over his head, Walz. The answer on why he lied about his trips to China and the Tiananmen Square thing was probably the worst VP debate meltdown since Stockdale in '92, you know, 'who am I and why am I here?' It was two-and-a-half minutes of absolute terrible. For Vance, night of redemption. All the political media has told us that Vance was a terrible pick and Walz was going to bring in all these voters. That charade is now over. Walz does not belong at this level of American politics. Vance does. Final verdict? Tim Walz wandered into the wrong bar tonight.

The real benefit is the moment has already been turned into a powerful campaign ad.
PS :According to a CBS poll, 42 percent of debate watchers say Vance won the debate. That narrowly outpaced Walz, who 41 percent of viewers said was victorious. About 17 percent said it was a tie. Also, in a Politico snap poll of the debate, "while voters were split 50-50 on who won, Walz was seen to have won with independents by 58-42. He was also preferred as vice president by 44 percent of independents, with 36 percent choosing Vance."

And Vance pick up 13 pts from a -22. So the bar was set lower then shit for Vance that he can only go up.
People were expecting  "Haitians eating pets" Vance but he had to do a rehab on his image. It worked to a degree.
And yes the 90th minute is pure ad campaign gold.
Let the ads kick in for a week or so...then lets see the polls.

JD Vance put on a masterclass on how to handle biased moderators and a lying opponent and it was a thing of beauty. It was beautiful. Every Republican or Republican voter or in this case, person who is voting for Trump, knows exactly what I am feeling right now, which is just, thank God

Perfectly executed and professionally done to put the moderators back in check. I was thinking about it this morning and I just noticed this article  

"The rules were that you guys weren't going to fact-check," Vance reminded them. "And since you are fact-checking me, I think it's important to say what's actually going on."

Even though VP debates don't carry too much weight,  I think voters will remember and associate a very solid VP choice for Trump. Vance is going to be a good balance for Trump.  
This was an easy debate victory for JD Vance. Props to Walz for doing better than I thought he would.
